Role description
SUMMARY
The Senior Sales Analyst is responsible for encompassing account management & analytical functions, providing sales representation and account management to our key accounts and e-commerce retailers while developing, building, and enhancing relationships with our retail partners. This role will use many data sets to create actionable insights to drive business growth.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
β’ Achieve assigned sales goals for new and existing products, strategic volume and promotional planning, and execution of sales/marketing initiatives
β’ Weekly reporting/tracking/analysis using online sales data and customer POS data: Sales, Inventory, Promotions, New Items, traffic, conversion, basket, spending on traffic, etc.
β’ Identify white space opportunities to drive revenue by using Scintilla data, Market Share data, and Kids2 POS data.
β’ Financial analysis including ROI on marketing/promotional initiatives, annual planning, and price elasticity modeling
β’ Act as the key point person with all internal departments for all assigned accounts to include product development, marketing, manufacturing, order entry, shipping, accounting, etc.
β’ Create and implement strategies to improve sales and profits, while acting as expert adviser to Buyers
β’ Maintain an effective knowledge of external market factors including competitive information in order to make educated account decisions and product recommendations.
β’ Understand all items that Kids2 actively sells while also maintaining a clear understanding of new items in development.
β’ Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
β’ Experience with Scintilla Charter is strongly preferred
β’ 2-5 years experience in sales, sales analytics or sales enablement capacities in the retail or CPG industry
β’ Experience with large retailers is a must; Amazon, Target or Walmart experience is preferred
β’ Experience and demonstrated ability to analyze data and make appropriate recommendations
β’ Must be able to provide recommendations from the data not simply run reports
EDUCATION & SKILLS
β’ Bachelorβs degree or equivalent experience
β’ Must possess strong Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience with Power BI is preferred.
β’ Must be comfortable with making presentations to senior leaders and key customers
β’ Critical thinking and problem solving
β’ Excellent communication skills and working with cross functional groups and customers.
β’ Ability to consult with buying teams and proactively identify opportunities
β’ Communicate and work collaboratively internally and customers
β’ Demonstrated ability to work independently
β’ Service-oriented

β’ Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
β’ While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk or hear.
β’ The team member frequently is required to sit; have flexible use of hands; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
