Role description
Creative Strategy Director (FTC, £85K pro-rata)
North London | 4 days in office | Temp to Perm: Initial Contract until year-end
We’re working with a pioneering social commerce scale-up who are looking for their first Creative Strategy Director. This is a unique opportunity to step into a hands-on senior role where you’ll set direction, shape brand narratives, and guide content strategy that is both culturally resonant and commercially impactful.
As a Creative Strategy Director, you’ll be the strategic lead across a portfolio of brands — from high-growth DTC challengers to household-name FMCG and beauty icons. You’ll define the strategic vision while staying close to the creative detail, partnering with creators, e-commerce teams, and brand leads to deliver content that connects and converts.
What You’ll Do
• Lead creative strategy across multiple categories, from beauty and FMCG to food and drink
• Spot and shape new narratives and positioning opportunities
• Brief and mentor a team of three in-house creators
• Partner with growth and brand teams to align creative strategy with performance objectives
• Balance creativity with commercial goals, ensuring ideas resonate culturally while delivering ROI
What They’re Looking For
• An experienced creative strategist (agency, in-house, or scale-up) with strong social commerce and short-form content expertise
• Confident operating as the sole strategist — setting vision and rolling up your sleeves
• Creative-first but commercially sharp, with a strong understanding of how brands win in social-first spaces
• Collaborative and comfortable working in a fast-moving, test-and-learn environment
Why Join?
• Be the first strategy hire, shaping how strategy lives within the business - opportunity to go perm
• Work on some of the most exciting brands in culture today
• Lead at the forefront of social commerce, creator-led content, and live shopping
• Join a collaborative, ambitious team with the stability of global client partnerships
