The Paid Media Intern will support the Performance Marketing Manager in strategizing and executing paid advertising initiatives that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversion. This role offers a hands-on opportunity to develop both creative and analytical skills while contributing to high-impact brand campaigns and product launches across multiple channels. The ideal candidate is highly organized, eager to learn, and passionate about beauty and digital marketing. They will gain exposure to full-funnel paid media strategies—including paid social, SEM, video, digital advertising, and e-commerce ads—while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including brand marketing, PR, social, and creative. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills will be key to success in this role.

Principal Accountabilities
• Support the Paid Media team in strategizing, planning, and executing campaigns that enhance brand awareness, drive traffic, and increase sales.
• Assist in compiling and analyzing weekly/monthly performance reports, providing key insights to the broader team.
• Evaluate paid social and search platform performance, identifying trends and opportunities for optimization.
• Help develop creative briefs for campaigns across Sephora and DTC.
• Manage the delivery of creative assets to agency partners, ensuring timely execution.
• Actively participate in team meetings, contributing ideas to enhance paid media strategies.
• Communicate proactively and effectively with cross-functional partners, including brand marketing, PR, social, and creative teams.
• Stay informed on beauty marketing best practices and emerging industry trends.
• Conduct competitive research to identify new opportunities and insights as it relates to paid media

Qualification and Experience
• Recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field
• Must be available for a 6-month, full-time internship
• Must be NYC-based to commute to the office on a hybrid schedule, 3x a week
• Passion for skincare and the beauty industry
• Proven interest in paid media and creative strategy.
• Strong proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks
• Highly organized, with strong attention to detail
• Creative thinker with a proactive mindset for identifying trends and opportunities.
• Must be comfortable pulling and analyzing data
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Bonus if you have an agency background
