Role description
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented TeleSales Account Representative to drive sales growth and customer engagement. This role will be pivotal in onboarding new customers, nurturing existing relationships, and developing strategies to maximize sales performance. The ideal candidate will be a data-driven specialist with a proven track record of exceeding targets and a passion for the beauty and cosmetics industry. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: New Customer Onboarding: Assist new customers with onboarding, ensure a positive first impression and set the stage for long-term partnerships. This includes initial contact, product information delivery, account setup, and ongoing support. The selected candidate will need to work cross functionally with the finance team to ensure smooth customer onboarding. Existing/Lapsed Customer Engagement Strategy: Create and execute strategies to re-engage lapsed customers and cultivate stronger relationships with current clients. This involves targeted outreach, personalized offers, and proactive communication. Leveraging Data to Grow Sales: Analyze sales data, customer trends, and market insights to identify opportunities for growth. Use this data to inform sales strategies, target specific customer segments, and optimize sales performance. Customer Acquisition Strategy: Develop and implement effective customer acquisition strategies, including lead generation, targeted marketing campaigns, and networking activities. Collaborate with the rest of the sales team to maximize lead generation efforts. Product Fill Rate Improvement: Identify and address factors contributing to low product fill rates. Work with internal teams to optimize inventory management and ensure timely product availability. Set up weekly 1:1 meetings with category managers and procurement leaders. Obsolete SKU Maintenance: Develop and execute a plan for managing and minimizing obsolete stock. This includes identifying slow-moving items, developing strategies for liquidation or repurposing, and collaborating with purchasing to prevent future accumulation. Work closely with the sales team to ensure they are not ordering obsolete items. B2B E-commerce Collaboration: Work closely with the B2B e-commerce team to optimize the online sales platform, improve customer experience, and drive online sales growth. Assistance with Expansion Models: Contribute to the development and implementation of expansion strategies, including identifying new market opportunities and developing plans for scaling the TeleSales operation. Travel is required to test in new markets. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred. • Proven track record of success in TeleSales, preferably within the beauty or cosmetics industry. • Strong understanding of sales principles, customer relationship management (CRM), and data analysis. • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. • Ability to lead and motivate a team. • Data-driven and results-oriented. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software. • Experience with B2B e-commerce platforms is a plus. • Passion for the beauty and cosmetics industry. WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS • Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM • Travel is required for this role, up to 50%.
