Role description
Location: Syosset, New York Job Type: Contract Compensation Range: $43 - 54 per hour Our client in the CPG space is looking for a temporary backfill for their Performance Marketing Manager while they are out on parental leave for 4 months. This particular client is open to candidates that are fully remote as long as they are US based and willing to work EST hours. Candidates that are local to Syosset, NY and can come onsite 2-4x/month will be given preference. In this β€œhands on keyboard” role, you will be responsible for end-to-end execution and management of media campaigns, campaign performance analysis, and campaign optimization. Responsibilities: Campaign Management & Optimization Lead and manage the end-to-end execution of paid digital campaigns across multiple platforms (Google, Meta, Amazon, TikTok, etc.), driving both direct-to-consumer and retail channel performance. Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly performance reporting to track key KPIs (e.g., ROAS, CPA, CPL, CPC, conversion rates). Optimize campaigns through A/B testing, audience segmentation, bid management, and creative iterations. Data Analysis & Reporting Leverage data analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tableau, Excel, etc.) to extract actionable insights and optimize campaign performance. Prepare regular performance reports, presenting key findings and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams. Identify trends and opportunities in campaign data to inform future strategies and investments. Collaboration & Strategy Development Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Brand Marketing, E-commerce, Sales, Product) to ensure campaigns align with brand objectives and business priorities. Develop and execute data-driven digital marketing strategies to achieve both short-term and long-term business goals. Stay current with industry trends, emerging digital platforms, and advertising technologies to ensure the company remains competitive. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Experience Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in performance marketing, digital advertising, or media buying, with a strong background in managing paid media campaigns for CPG or e-commerce brands. Proven experience overseeing agency relationships and ensuring campaign deliverables are met with high standards. Strong understanding of performance metrics and the ability to analyze and interpret data to drive decision-making. Familiarity with digital advertising tools and platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Amazon Ads, Programmatic, etc.). Experience using analytics and reporting tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms. Skills & Competencies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract insights from large data sets. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data in a clear, actionable way. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously. Strong project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams. Proactive, results-driven, and able to adapt to a fast-paced and ever-changing digital landscape.
