Role description
• Lead UX design for a website overhaul and continuous improvement programme. • Collaborate across digital, marketing, and product teams to deliver user-centred experiences. • Benefits include annual bonus and private medical insurance. We’re hiring a UX Designer to join a thriving digital team within an established retail and eCommerce business. You’ll create intuitive, seamless and visually consistent user experiences across digital touchpoints. This is a role where you’ll own the UX process from ideation to delivery, working closely with internal stakeholders to shape the future of the customer journey. What you’ll be doing The successful User Experience Designer will play a key role in a major website transformation project, while also contributing to ongoing enhancements. You’ll collaborate with analytics, product, marketing and sales teams to understand customer needs and business goals. The business is looking for a designer interested in user research and analytics, as they want to include the customer in all their digital decision-making. The ideal candidate will be skilled in UX ideation, wireframing and prototyping, evolving concepts into high-fidelity designs ready for development. You’ll work together with UI developers to ensure smooth handovers and accurate implementation. You’ll also contribute to testing and refinement, ensuring designs meet usability and accessibility standards. You’ll be the guardian of the design system, maintaining visual consistency across platforms and working closely with graphic designers to align brand identity. Your insights from research, competitor analysis and web analytics will inform design decisions that drive customer success. What experience you’ll need to apply • Established UX Design experience, ideally within an eCommerce context. • Strong portfolio showcasing responsive design across desktop and mobile. • Proficiency in tools like Figma and Miro. • Solid understanding of UX principles, usability, and information architecture. • Experience creating and managing digital style guides or design systems. • Familiarity with accessibility regulations. • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. • Comfortable working at pace across multiple projects.
