Position Summary As Vice President of Brand Creative, you will provide creative leadership and direction to drive compelling, omnichannel campaigns that elevate brand awareness, engagement, and growth. This role requires a strong leader who can develop and implement creative strategies aligned with the company’s vision, manage a high-performing team, and ensure all creative output reflects the brand’s evolving identity and values. You will oversee the entire creative process, collaborating with key stakeholders to deliver innovative brand storytelling across digital, video, social, experiential, and print platforms. This individual is a thought leader who leverages expertise in digital design, content creation, and luxury brand storytelling to drive customer engagement, acquisition, and retention. This role is 100% in office and will report to the Philadelphia corporate headquarters 5 days a week. Essential Functions • Lead creative efforts for the brand across platforms with a focus on ecommerce, social media, and store experience. • Develop and maintain guidelines and tools that facilitate appropriate usage of our brand. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to set up creative roadmaps that ensure alignment between team activities and overarching organizational strategies and objectives. • Leverage research, analytics and stakeholder input to inform creative and strategic planning processes. • Lead a team of art directors, graphic designers, as well as our videographer and photographers to produce remarkable campaigns that drive brand awareness and revenue growth. • Provide creative direction and mentorship within a photo studio environment, guiding photographers to consistently deliver work that aligns with brand standards and campaign objectives. • Partner with visual merchandising teams to translate brand identity into compelling retail design experiences that resonate with customers and elevate the in-store journey. • Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the creative team to devise, produce, and deliver compelling marketing materials that reflect our brand. • Actively identify and encourage opportunities for team member growth within the brand creative function. • Foster a culture of creative excellence and provide team members with the coaching and feedback they need to achieve it. • Set financial and operational objectives and expectations for the creative team and be accountable for the department’s budget, ensuring financial decisions are prudent and fiscally sound. • Optimize internal processes and vendor relationships. • Represent the creative function and develop relationships with senior leadership. • Working collaboratively, identify and drive new ways to support the company’s marketing and branding initiatives. • Continually share best practices and institutional knowledge to develop and implement effective processes that facilitate collaboration between stakeholders. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, graphic design, business, or another relevant field. • 18 years’ minimum experience in a creative role, including 10 or more years leading and building creative teams for a highly reputable brand or in an agency—luxury retail or fashion preferred. • Proven experience crafting both strategic brand voice and product-focused storytelling across a wide variety of marketing formats and mediums such as digital, video, film, social, editorial, experiential, print, packing, etc. • Proven ability to facilitate the creative process, including providing clear direction and producing work cost-effectively and on schedule. • Exceptional presentation design, writing, and verbal skills. • Advanced conceptual, strategic art and copy fundamentals. • Positive mindset of “getting the job done”, adaptability. • Ability to keep a pulse on the cultural zeitgeist including, social, brand and content relevance. • Audacity and courage to develop and execute impactful creative ideas and the ability to articulate storytelling and create a buzz and energy behind a brand that has heritage. • History of successfully overseeing complex budget management activities across a variety of programs. • Advanced leadership skills, with the ability to lead, develop, engage, and retain a creative team. • Working knowledge of production and asset creation workflows. • Interest for art/culture/design a plus Core Competencies • Customer Focus - Ensuring that the internal or external customer’s perspective is a driving force behind strategic priorities, business decisions, organizational processes, and individual activities; crafting and implementing service practices that meet customers’ needs; promoting and operationalizing customer service as a value. • Driving for Results - Setting high goals for personal and group accomplishment; using measurement methods to monitor progress toward goals; tenaciously working to meet or exceed goals while deriving satisfaction from that achievement and continuous improvement. • Building Trusting Relationships - Using appropriate interpersonal styles to establish relationships with customers and internal partners; interacting with others in a way that promotes openness and trust and gives them confidence in one’s intentions. • Adaptability - Maintaining effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work responsibilities or environment; adjusting effectively to change by exploring the benefits, trying new approaches, and collaborating with others to make change successful. • Professional Knowledge and Skills- Having achieved a satisfactory level of technical, functional, and/or professional skill or knowledge in area of expertise; keeping up with current developments and trends in area of expertise; leveraging expert knowledge to accomplish results.
