The VP of Marketing is responsible for the full scope of the company’s marketing activities, including developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. What You’ll Do
• Plan, execute, and optimize integrated marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels, ensuring consistent brand messaging and achieving key performance indicators.
• Coordinate cross-channel initiatives ensuring alignment and synergy between various marketing efforts, leveraging each channel’s strengths to create a unified and compelling brand narrative.
• Work with management to create the marketing budget. Own, allocate and track the marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximizing ROI on marketing investments.
• Manage brand marketing calendar, utilizing public relations, social content and brand awareness campaigns and partnerships for full funnel execution.
• Work with external performance marketing teams to monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics to optimize direct response marketing initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee the creative and design staff (internal & external) and lead the development of creative assets and content, including copy, visuals, and multimedia content, that effectively communicate the brand story.
• Hire and manage marketing and customer experience staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including internal and external vendors and partners, to support brand initiatives and ensure alignment of brand marketing goals.
• Conduct market research and consumer analysis to identify opportunities for brand growth and differentiation.
• Stay up to date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in brand marketing to maintain a competitive edge with shifting and emerging trends.
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience in consumer brand marketing.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a lean, fast-paced startup environment.
• Are both a strategic thinker and a “doer” – You must have the desire to be a“doer”, just like the rest of the team.
• Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand marketing strategies and campaigns.
• Experience managing and adhering to marketing budgets.
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and crafting compelling brand narratives.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and levels.
• Proficiency in marketing analytics tools, project management software, and various common business operating systems.
