The Senior Director or Vice President of Product Management for eCommerce is responsible for setting the vision, strategy, and execution for the company’s digital commerce products. This executive is charged with leading the full lifecycle of eCommerce products, driving growth, innovation, and exceptional customer experiences while ensuring alignment with business objectives and evolving market needs. What you’ll do & how you’ll make your mark. • Product Strategy & Vision: Define and communicate a comprehensive long-term strategy and vision for the eCommerce portfolio, anticipating customer trends and market shifts. • Roadmap Development: Oversee development and prioritization of a cohesive product roadmap for eCommerce, balancing near-term initiatives with long-range opportunities to drive business outcomes. • Lifecycle Ownership: Lead the conception, development, launch, and ongoing optimization of all eCommerce products and features, maintaining accountability for platform performance and relevance in the marketplace. • Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, sales, customer experience, and analytics to deliver seamless, high-impact digital experiences. • Customer-Centric Execution: Leverage customer insights, market research, and feedback to inform product direction and feature enhancements, ensuring the digital journey exceeds expectations. • Team Leadership & Development: Build, coach, and grow a high-performing team of product managers; foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. • Data-Driven Performance: Establish and oversee product KPIs, using analytics to track adoption, engagement, conversion, and revenue; make informed decisions to iterate on offerings. • Budget & Resource Management: Own eCommerce product budgets and resource planning, ensuring projects deliver on time and within financial targets. • Stakeholder Communication: Report regularly to executive leadership on progress against strategic goals, key initiatives, risks, and opportunities, aligning product vision with broader business strategy. • Market & Competitive Awareness: Stay abreast of eCommerce and related digital technology trends, identifying opportunities for differentiation, innovation, and best-in-class user experience. • Compliance & Security: Ensure all digital commerce products adhere to relevant regulatory, privacy, and security standards. Who you are & what you’ll need to succeed. • Extensive experience in senior-level product management roles leading scalable eCommerce product or platform portfolios. • Demonstrated success creating and executing eCommerce product strategies across complex, high-transaction digital environments. • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering high-performance digital products. • Advanced analytical ability—translating data into actionable strategies and measurable outcomes. • Deep understanding of digital commerce ecosystems, customer behavior, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape. • Exceptional communication, leadership, and influence with both executive stakeholders and technical teams. • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred). • This role requires a visionary leader and strategic operator, capable of scaling robust digital commerce offerings that drive both customer satisfaction and business performance in a rapidly evolving landscape.
