
E-Commerce Coordinator (Temporary)
REPORTS TO: Senior Ecommerce Manager LOCATION: Farmacy HQ in New York, NY (Flatiron District). Hybrid, in-person 2 days per week on a set schedule (Tuesdays & Wednesdays) WORK SCHEDULE: 9am-5pm Mon-Fri, approximately 40 hours per week TIMING: Target 7/15/2025 start date; approximate end date 1/5/2026 STATUS: Independent consultant. Contracted through an Agency or 1099 Independent Contractor. This role is not eligible for benefits. Youโre energized by clean beauty and excited to help build meaningful customer connections through Email, SMS, and lifecycle marketing strategies. Youโll support the planning, execution, and optimization of our Email and SMS campaigns โ owning everything from building and testing to deploying performance-driven messages that drive engagement, retention, and revenue. Youโll also contribute to broader CRM initiatives including customer journey mapping, segmentation, and loyalty program support to deepen our relationship with the Farmacy community. In this role, you'll work with the ecommerce team on performance reporting and analytics, as well as ad hoc digital projects that support our site experience and growth initiatives. Youโll turn data into actionable insights, balancing creative thinking with a keen analytical eye to inform marketing decisions and scale perormance. Youโll collaborate closely with teams across Digital, Creative, Brand Marketing, and Customer Experience, and report to the Sr. Manager of Ecommerce. Ensure Flawless QA & Testing: Validate links, promo codes, creative, and design across devices; manage A/B testing for continuous improvement. Support Lifecycle & Journey Flows: Assist in the development and optimization of automated journeys like welcome, post-purchase, and win-back. Drive Segmentation & Personalization: Implement targeting strategies to deliver tailored messaging across customer segments. Collaborate on Campaign Strategy: Partner on planning for seasonal, promotional, and evergreen campaigns that align with brand goals. Contribute to Loyalty Marketing: Support loyalty initiatives with personalized communications and member-first messaging. Analyze & Optimize Performance: Monitor key metrics, generate insights, and identify opportunities to improve retention and LTV. Support Cross-Functional Projects: Collaborate with ecommerce, marketing, and creative teams on digital initiatives and ad hoc priorities.RequirementsNYC-based and able to work 2 days per week in the NYC office 1โ3 years of experience in email marketing, preferably within ecommerce or DTC (beauty experience a plus) Hands-on experience with email/SMS platforms (Klaviyo, Attentive/Postscript a plus) Proficient with ecommerce tools, analytics platforms, and project management systems (e.g., Shopify, Google Analytics, Asana, Airtable) Strong attention to detail, organizational, and multitasking skills Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement changes effectively Comfortable pulling and analyzing performance data to inform decisions Solid understanding of email marketing best practices (segmentation, personalization, compliance) or eagerness to learn Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach, ownership, and accountability Passion for beauty and sustainability Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship from employer.
