We believe education, transparency, and real-world results drive customer trust and business success.Position OverviewWeβre looking for a strategic and results-driven Lifecycle Marketing Manager (Email/SMS, Customer Focused, DTC) to own the customer messaging lifecycle across owned channels. This role is central to how we educate, engage, and monetize our customer base, using storytelling, segmentation, and performance-driven campaigns. Youβll be responsible for leading our CRM strategy, delivering thoughtful campaigns that blend content and commerce to drive growth and retention.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategy & Planning β’ Develop and execute the comprehensive email and SMS marketing calendar aligned with product launches, education initiatives, brand storytelling, and promotional strategies. β’ Build and own lifecycle marketing strategies (welcome series, cart abandonment, post-purchase, replenishment, win-back, etc.) tailored for both new and repeat customers. β’ Partner with product, creative, and customer experience teams to ensure messaging is informative, impactful, and conversion-oriented.Execution & Optimization β’ Write, build, and schedule email and SMS campaigns using platforms like Klaviyo (or similar), ensuring consistent voice and visual alignment with brand guidelines. β’ Implement segmentation and personalization strategies to deliver tailored messages based on behavior, preferences, and lifecycle stage. β’ Monitor and analyze campaign performance (open rates, CTRs, conversion rates, revenue per message, unsubscribe rates, etc.) and optimize accordingly. β’ A/B test subject lines, content, timing, and CTAs to continuously improve results.Educational Selling & Storytelling β’ Transform product features into compelling benefits-driven content that educates customers on the "why" behind our formulations and protocols. β’ Leverage customer success stories, expert insights, and research to build trust and drive deeper engagement. β’ Ensure all messaging supports long-term brand equity while also driving short-term results.Monetization & Growth β’ Identify and execute monetization opportunities through promos, upsells, cross-sells, loyalty initiatives, and subscription engagement. β’ Collaborate with ecommerce and paid media teams to create unified messaging and maximize LTV. β’ Contribute to forecasting and planning for revenue tied to email and SMS performance.Qualifications β’ 5+ years of hands-on experience managing email and SMS programs, ideally within a DTC health, wellness, beauty, or supplement brand for ecommerce company with subscriptions. β’ Deep understanding of RFM, lifecycle marketing, segmentation, and conversion best practices. β’ Proficiency with email/SMS platforms such as Klaviyo, Postscript, or similar. β’ Strong writing and storytelling skills; ability to translate scientific/technical info into accessible, engaging content. β’ Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and a focus on ROI. β’ Bonus: experience working with loyalty, referral, or subscription platforms.What Success Looks Like β’ Increased customer LTV through personalized journeys and educational touchpoints. β’ High engagement rates driven by relevant, value-based messaging. β’ Scalable, automated flows that nurture relationships while driving revenue. β’ Strong brand affinity created through thoughtful communication and customer-first messaging.
