Learn more about Cavela at https://www.cavela.com/ About the Role We’re looking for an Account Manager with 2–5 years of experience in account management, customer success, or sales (ideally in e-commerce). You’ll own relationships with Cavela’s brand partners, guiding them from product idea to production while ensuring a smooth and confident experience. Beyond managing accounts, you’ll play a key role in growing the business: expanding client relationships, driving retention, and supporting new account acquisition. • Own the Client Relationship: Be the go-to for Cavela’s brand partners, building trust, steering them through sampling and production, and making sure they always feel supported. • Keep Projects on Track: Manage timelines, approvals, and milestones with precision so nothing slips through the cracks (or gets stuck in customs). • Communicate Clearly: Deliver updates that are timely, direct, and transparent — whether it’s progress, a roadblock, or tough news that needs to land well. • Grow the Partnership: Spot opportunities for retention, upsell, and repeat business while representing Cavela in communities, events, and early prospect conversations. • Build Better Systems: Work with ops to refine SOPs, customer flows, and tools, turning messy processes into smooth ones that scale. About You • Experience: 2–5 years in account management, customer success, or sales; e-commerce or consumer brand experience strongly preferred. • Highly Organized: Obsessed with systems, structure, and detail. If you alphabetized your music library, used color-coded notes in college, or have a personal Notion Kanban board — you’re in the right place. • Calm Under Pressure: Steady and resilient when delivering tough news or managing high-stakes situations — whether it’s letting a client know a shipment is stuck in customs, or breaking the news that a new 150% tariff just dropped. • People-Centered: Skilled at building strong, collaborative relationships with clients and internal teams. Builds trust quickly, puts people at ease, and has a presence others genuinely enjoy working with.
