About The Opportunity
The Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive revenue growth and ensure customer satisfaction. The individual will serve as the primary representative for strategic accounts—including strategic e-commerce vendors—leading commercial strategy, driving innovation, and delivering best-in-class retail supply chain solutions. Responsibilities include managing national accounts, developing strategic sales plans, and collaborating cross-functionally to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute the Menasha Packaging-wide commercial strategy for a key e-commerce account
Develop and implement strategic sales plans for key packaging customers
Manage national accounts and cultivate long-term customer relationships
Collaborate with sales leadership and account teams to align on customer strategies and execution
Drive innovation and continuous improvement across the retail supply chain
Essential Job Functions
Serve as a subject matter expert on Menasha’s products and capabilities to align with customer business objectives
Act as the primary liaison between the company and customers to deliver tailored retail supply chain solutions
Conduct account business planning to develop mutually beneficial strategies that support profitable growth
Identify and pursue new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers
Recommend solutions to optimize retail supply chain execution and efficiency
Manage the business development process, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders
Oversee project timelines and communicate progress to ensure key milestones are met
Contribute to annual sales planning and quarterly forecasting to meet revenue targets
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to deliver cost savings and operational enhancements
Address and resolve customer concerns, ensuring appropriate corrective actions are taken
Monitor competitive landscape and provide insights to inform pricing and positioning strategies
Prepare and analyze business reports to support decision-making
Represent the company at industry trade shows and networking events
Stay current on industry trends and best practices through ongoing professional development
Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in sales, account management, or business development
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Strong customer focus with a proactive approach to meeting client needs
High level of integrity, professionalism, and ethical standards
Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and organizational boundaries
Strategic thinking with the ability to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities
Familiarity with differences between key e-commerce sales and business models is a plus
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Primarily office-based with frequent travel required
