Role description
FabFitFun is seeking an Assistant Merchandise Planner to join our Merchandising team! This role will appeal to someone with an interest in looking to jump-start a career within merchandise planning and gain exposure from a dynamic team.
Location: This role is based out of our HQ in Beverly Hills, CA and is not eligible for remote. We are presently operating from a hybrid schedule of 4 days a week in-office (Monday-Thursday).
What You’ll Do:
• Manages data integrity in multiple systems and maintains files to support larger merchandising team
• Supports category planning for several categories, inclusive of pre-season planning and in-season assortment management for ecom business; support ox planning as needed
• Build and manage complex reporting tools for Open-To-Buy, inventory, sale set up, and sale analysis
• Complete ad hoc analysis and seasonal reporting to support category and total business
• Partners with internal planning team and cross functional counterparts to execute campaigns; supports and manages go-live preparation for ecom and reFills
What You’ll Bring
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 1-2+ years professional work or internship experience, preferable in Merchandise Planning and/or Buying
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills required
• Ability to learn and master new internal systems
• Can think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data
• Effective in a variety of presentation settings including one-on-one, small and large groups
• Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results; proficiency in and ability to train retail math
• Possess strong organizational and time management skills
This is a full-time position with an expected hourly rate for this of $24/hr - $26/hr. The compensation package will also include an initial equity grant, in addition to a range of generous medical, dental, vision and other perks & benefits. Compensation decisions are determined using a variety of job-related factors such as skill set, geographic location, market demands, experience, and education / certifications. If we extend an offer for employment, we will consider all individual qualifications.
