As a Fashion Nova Associate Buyer, you will play a key role in maintaining our reputation as a trendsetter in the fashion industry. You’ll bring your expertise daily, curating innovative and compelling product selections tailored to your category and customer demographic. By analyzing shopping patterns, past purchases, and market trends, you’ll help shape strategic buying and merchandising decisions that keep Fashion Nova ahead of the competition. Collaborating with a dynamic, cross-functional team, you’ll drive sales, margins, and key business goals. Key responsibilities include gaining deep insights into the Fashion Nova consumer, developing an understanding of the competitive landscape, participating in seasonal buying plans, managing product selection, pricing, inventory, and overall performance, working closely with vendors, driving exclusivity with vendors, coaching and mentoring assistant buyers, and managing ad hoc projects. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Merchandising or related field, 2-3 years of experience in buying/merchandising ideally in eCommerce fashion, strong negotiation and vendor relationship skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work efficiently and independently, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The position is onsite Monday to Friday during core business hours at the Vernon HQ location.
