Overview
Boyne Resorts is one of the largest privately owned and operated ski and golf resort company in the country, operating as many as twelve different ski areas and resort properties across North America with over 11,000 full time and seasonal employees. Boyne Resorts was formed in 1947 and is headquartered in beautiful northern Michigan.
Boyne Resorts is in the middle of a long-term effort to transform and modernize its core business and transactional systems in a unified architecture. We are seeking candidates with strong operational knowledge of POS systems relating to Access Control, Rental, and Lessons.
Responsibilities
β’ This position is responsible for accurate and timely configuration of digital products in our point-of-sale software systems (RTP One) and our e-commerce sales channel (Aspenware) as well as accurate attribution of products in our product information management system (Akeneo).
β’ In addition to building products, the Digital Product Specialist will collaborate with department leaders across Boyneβs Resorts to provide and analyze data to ensure our product mix is pertinent and efficient.
β’ The ideal candidate will have the ability to gather business requirements and understand business processes and apply those to an optimal configuration within the software applications.
Qualifications
The candidate should have some combination of the below skills and experience:
β’ 3+ yearsβ experience working in Point-of-Sale systems
β’ Familiarity or prior experience working in RTP|One, Axess RFID Access Control, or Aspenware Commerce
β’ Ability to gather system requirements and understand business processes
β’ Compose system configuration solutions based on business requirements
β’ Document business process changes, testing checklists, customization requirements and standard operating procedures
β’ Strong attention to detail while keeping to a project deadline.
β’ Demonstrates superior interpersonal skills, including the ability to create trust with cross functional teams
β’ Willingness to make decisions; Exhibits sound and accurate judgment; Supports and explains reasoning for decisions; Includes appropriate people in decision-making process; Makes timely decisions
β’ Desire to learn new tools and software applications
