Role description
The Decima Digital Business Solutions Architects are responsible for the development of the business and functional architecture for large, complex and/or strategic Adobe Commerce opportunities, as well as managing the delivery of these opportunities. As our customer’s requirements increase in scope and complexity, the Business Solution Architect will be required to have increasingly more external visibility; work at higher levels within the client organization, and greater cross-functional impact internally. In addition, the Business Solution Architect is required to work closely with the delivery team and Executives to support the acquisition of larger and more strategic opportunities. These opportunities would require the BSA to work closely with C-level corporate executives within these strategic accounts. These deals are defined based on the size of the potential account, the functional complexity, and how the platform can be extended in the best way possible to meet the needs of these customers. The job requires location in the US. Responsibily β€’ Support the growth and retention of strategic accounts by collaborating with the Strategic Customer Success team β€’ Manage the delivery of large, complex strategic deals β€’ Provide thought leadership in the e-commerce space and contribute high-level content on Adobe Commerce; develop best practices for delivery on the platform β€’ Help strategic accounts understand how to optimize Adobe Commerce for business results based on industry best practices β€’ Drive the direction of service offerings and team skill development in collaboration with leadership β€’ Contribute to the professional growth and skill development of the Decima team β€’ Support the acquisition of enterprise accounts by actively participating in the sales cycle for large and complex strategic opportunities β€’ Assist in preparing services responses to RFPs for selected enterprise prospects β€’ Write blogs, present at conferences, and author white papers β€’ Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and instructor on advanced business topics Skills & Knowledge β€’ Deep understanding of eCommerce trends and technologies β€’ Extensive functional and technical expertise in Adobe Commerce, including how enterprises utilize the platform β€’ Strong consultative skills with the ability to translate clearly complex technical concepts for business audiences and non-technical stakeholders β€’ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities β€’ Exceptional presentation and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively at the C-level β€’ Strong negotiation and sales skills β€’ Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners, clients, and internal teams β€’ Skilled at identifying and leveraging internal and external resources to support enterprise accounts throughout the sales and post-sales lifecycle, particularly within Adobe Commerce environments. β€’ Education: BS in business or computer science; MBA desirable but not mandatory Experience β€’ 5+ years working with Adobe Commerce β€’ 5+ years of experience implementing Adobe Commerce in enterprise accounts β€’ 5+ years participating and negotiating with prospects on the Adobe Commerce platform β€’ 5+ years working closely with solution partners on customer implementations β€’ 5+ years managing technical and/or business teams in a customer-facing function
