What you’ll do:
Strategic Leadership & Vision

• Oversee the integration of marketing, merchandising, and eCommerce initiatives into a unified growth plan.
• Identify new market opportunities, brand partnerships, and audience segments to expand reach.
Team Leadership & Development
• Directly manage the Marketing Director and eCommerce Director, setting priorities, KPIs, and cross-functional workflows.
• Build a high-performance marketing team culture focused on innovation, accountability, and measurable results.
• Partner with Executive Leadership to ensure marketing aligns with overall corporate objectives.
Brand, Creative, & Messaging
• Maintain and evolve brand identity, ensuring consistent storytelling across all channels.
• Oversee creative direction for campaigns, content, and merchandising in alignment with product availability and seasonal demand.
• Ensure compliance with legal and industry regulations, particularly around advertising firearms and related products.
Performance Marketing & Analytics
• Oversee paid advertising strategies (Search, Display, Shopping, Social), email/SMS lifecycle marketing, SEO, and affiliate programs.
• Monitor and analyze KPIs across acquisition, retention, and conversion channels to guide optimization.
• Champion a data-driven decision-making culture, leveraging tools like GA4, Meta Business Suite, Klaviyo, and CRO platforms.
eCommerce & Customer Experience
• Drive continuous improvement in site performance, UX/UI, mobile responsiveness, and conversion optimization.
• Ensure cybersecurity best practices are embedded into all digital touchpoints, protecting both customers and brand reputation.
• Oversee A/B testing, personalization strategies, and platform roadmap decisions for scalability.
What you bring:

• Proven track record of scaling digital-first brands, preferably in retail or regulated eCommerce industries.
• Expertise in omnichannel campaign strategy, analytics, brand management, and performance marketing.
• Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms (Magento, Shopify, or custom stacks) and digital security best practices.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to unite creative, technical, and analytical teams toward a common goal.
• Firearms industry experience or a passion for the space is a strong plus.
Bonus if you have:
• Experience managing marketing in a publicly traded or high-compliance environment.
• Hands-on experience with CRO tools, advanced analytics platforms, and automation software.
• Strong network in affiliate marketing, influencer partnerships, or outdoor/lifestyle brand collaborations.
What we offer:
