Location: Remote / NYC / SF Commitment: Full-time (equity-based, no base salary initially) We’re looking for a technical co-founder (CTO) to join Vesti AI, an early-stage startup redefining how people shop for clothes online. About Us Vesti AI is a Chrome extension that lets anyone upload a photo and instantly see how clothes from any online store would look on them — a universal virtual fitting room. Online apparel is a $500B+ market, yet 30% of clothes get returned because they don’t look the same on real people as on models. We’re fixing that. We launched v1.0 in the Chrome Web Store and already have 300+ downloads and are onboarding 50+ affiliates weekly to drive growth. We’re now looking for a technical co-founder to lead product and tech as we scale. What You’ll Do • Own all technical strategy + execution as co-founder. • Improve and extend our virtual try-on backend (AI image processing → AR webcam try-ons). • Scale infrastructure for real users (GPU backend + cloud scaling). • Ship fast — from prototype to production-ready features. • Help us build the first dataset of “try vs. buy” behavior in online fashion. Our Current Stack (functional but needs your leadership): • Frontend: React / Next.js (Vercel) • Extension: Chrome Extension embedding frontend in an iframe • Backend: FastAPI on GPU instances (RunPod, RTX 6000 ADA) • Storage/Auth: AWS S3 for images, Firebase Auth + Firestore for user history • AI tools: leveraging open-source try-on models + AI coding tools (Cursor, Bolt) for rapid prototyping What We’re Offering • Significant equity as a true co-founder (no base salary until funding). • Ownership in a company positioned to transform online shopping. • A scrappy, fast-moving founding team with real traction. Who You Are • Strong backend/AI/infra engineer with experience in ML models, image processing, or AR/VR. • Comfortable moving quickly from prototype → production. • Entrepreneurial, motivated by equity and long-term upside. • Excited about consumer tech, fashion/e-commerce, or building viral products.
