Transport and logistics networks are under unprecedented strain from e-commerce growth, sustainability pressures, and rising customer expectations. Existing routing and planning tools are often outdated, siloed, and unable to optimise in real time, leading to inefficiencies, missed SLAs, and unnecessary emissions. RouteLogic is an AI-driven logistics optimisation platform that integrates fleet, warehouse, and delivery data to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and cut carbon emissions. By turning fragmented operations into a dynamic, data-driven system, RouteLogic helps logistics providers and retailers deliver faster, cheaper, and greener. With CSV’s capital, resources, and corporate network, you’ll lead RouteLogic from validation through spinout as its Founding CEO. Your Role You’ll be the entrepreneurial leader taking RouteLogic from concept to company. Partnering with CSV’s studio team, you’ll validate demand with logistics providers, retailers, and manufacturers; design the product and go-to-market model; secure pilots; and prepare the venture for fundraising. Once validated, you’ll spin out as CEO with majority equity and investor backing. Key Responsibilities Market & Customer Validation • Engage logistics operators, retailers, and supply chain leaders to test demand • Identify inefficiencies in routing, scheduling, and fleet optimisation • Validate compliance and sustainability drivers (emission reduction, last-mile delivery regulations) • Secure pilot partners to prove early value Product & Proposition • Work with CSV’s design/tech team to scope and build MVP • Translate logistics pain points into AI-driven optimisation features • Ensure compatibility with existing fleet management, WMS, and ERP systems • Position RouteLogic as a scalable, real-time optimisation layer Business Model & Go-to-Market • Define pricing model (per vehicle, per route, SaaS subscription, or enterprise license) • Develop GTM strategy targeting mid-to-large logistics operators and e-commerce retailers • Build partnerships with fleet operators, logistics tech vendors, and sustainability bodies • Expand proposition into adjacent areas (warehousing, cross-border logistics) Team & Leadership • Recruit and inspire a founding team (CTO, Head of Partnerships, etc.) • Establish company culture and operating rhythm • Represent RouteLogic with corporates, regulators, and investors Funding & Spinout • Work with CSV to spin out: incorporation, governance, and IP transfer • Lead investor conversations and secure pre-seed/seed capital • Build an advisory network of logistics, mobility, and AI experts What We're Looking For • Domain Expertise: Background in logistics, supply chain, fleet optimisation, or mobility tech • Startup Track Record: Experience in a venture-backed startup or as a founder/operator, ideally with B2B SaaS exposure • Commercial Acumen: Ability to design business models, sell into complex organisations, and secure pilots • Technical Fluency: Understanding of logistics systems, AI/optimisation, or data integration • Leadership & Resilience: Hands-on operator who thrives in early-stage environments and can build teams around them What You'll Get • 6-month stipend to focus full-time on validation • Majority founder equity from day one • Full CSV support: structured validation, design/tech bench, corporate introductions, legal/governance setup, and investor network • Pathway to become CEO of a venture-backed logistics optimisation company solving a trillion-dollar problem Why Build With Us?
