About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Collectibles Operations Specialist to join our team. This dynamic, hands-on role takes place in a busy warehouse environment, making it ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced settings and has a passion for collectibles. In this position, you will expertly manage the entire lifecycle of our collectible inventory, overseeing everything from intake and careful organization to shipping and creating engaging e-commerce listings. Your ability to handle logistics, content creation, and excellent customer service will be essential as you help drive our success and ensure our collectors have a great experience. Key Responsibilities
Product Content Management
β’ Develop and oversee all product listings by crafting engaging descriptions that not only inform but also entice potential buyers. This includes taking photos of all products and ensuring product images effectively showcase the items and align with brand standards.
β’ Ensure accurate inventory data across e-commerce platforms. Regularly review and update inventory to ensure accuracy and consistency, which are essential for preserving sales integrity and customer satisfaction.
Warehouse Operations (Physical Role
β’ Organize, label, and inventory all collectibles on-site to facilitate easy access and efficient order processing.
β’ Accurately pull items for order fulfillment, conduct thorough quality control checks to ensure that every item meets our quality standards, and prepare shipments for delivery.
β’ Keep the warehouse workspace clean, organized, and efficient to promote safety and productivity. This includes following best practices for inventory management and tidiness.
Customer & Client Communication
β’ Serve as the primary contact for all customer service questions about collectibles, working closely with the PC Customer Service Team to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
β’ Collaborate with consignors to coordinate incoming collections and resolve any product or listing issues that may occur, ensuring smooth processes and maintaining positive relationships.
Independent Project Work
β’ Take the initiative to lead and oversee independent projects focused on expanding our product offerings, creating themed collections, or optimizing inventory workflows. This may include conducting market research, applying new strategies, and monitoring the success of these efforts to promote ongoing improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
β’ A solid knowledge or a strong interest in various types of collectibles, including sports, music, pop culture, and historical memorabilia, is a significant plus. Candidates should be enthusiastic about these fields and stay updated on market trends.
β’ Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills. Strong organizational and time management abilities are essential for managing multiple tasks effectively and ensuring smooth operations.
β’ Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Candidates should be able to work independently, demonstrating problem-solving skills and initiative.
β’ Candidates should be comfortable and capable of working in a dynamic warehouse environment, which involves managing inventory and coordinating shipments. Working in this environment includes the ability to lift and move items weighing up to 30 pounds safely. Physical stamina and the ability to work on your feet for extended periods are essential.
