Position Summary
We are looking for a Computer / eCommerce Technician to join our growing team. This role combines hands-on technical work β refurbishing and testing computers β with the preparation and listing of products for sale on eCommerce platforms such as eBay, Amazon, and via wholesale channels. The ideal candidate will be both technically skilled and detail-oriented, ensuring every product meets our high quality standards before it reaches customers.
Key Responsibilities
Refurbishment & Quality Control
β’ Diagnose, repair, and refurbish laptops, desktops, and other IT hardware.
β’ Replace and upgrade components (RAM, storage, batteries, screens, etc.).
β’ Test key functionality and reinstall operating systems.
β’ Perform final quality assurance testing on all devices.
eCommerce Operations
β’ Accurately photograph refurbished products for online listings.
β’ Write clear, detailed product descriptions.
β’ List products on eCommerce platforms and wholesale channels.
β’ Ensure correct product categorization, pricing, and condition grading.
Inventory & Process Management
β’ Maintain accurate inventory records in asset tracking systems.
β’ Identify and report recurring repair issues to improve processes.
β’ Ensure all items are properly cleaned prior to being added to inventory
Qualifications
β’ High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications a plus).
β’ 1β3 yearsβ experience in PC repair, refurbishing, or IT support.
β’ Familiarity with eCommerce platforms such as eBay, Amazon, or Shopify.
β’ Strong knowledge of computer hardware and operating systems.
β’ Excellent written communication for product descriptions.
β’ Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
β’ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
