Job Title: Content Marketing Specialist
Location: Glasgow
Reports to: Head of Growth
Type: Full-time, Permanent
About Us
At Go Swag, we’re redefining branded merchandise. We help the world’s most exciting companies deliver effortless, borderless and impactful corporate gifting that people actually want to receive. From onboarding packs to event swag, we combine premium products, sustainable sourcing and end-to-end global logistics to make gifting simple and unforgettable.
We’re growing fast, with a mission to take a bigger slice of a multi-billion-pound industry. To get there, we’re doubling down on our content engine: building the most authoritative, engaging and commercially effective content in corporate gifting.
The Role
We’re looking for a Content Marketing Specialist who can own, drive and scale our content engine across all digital touch points, with a focus on AI/LLM search optimisation to future-proof our brand visibility.
This is a hands-on role. You’ll not only plan and lead content initiatives but also write, edit and optimise. From long-form, core pillar pages and proprietary research reports to high-impact email sequences, social campaigns and sales enablement assets. You’ll collaborate closely with design, sales and growth teams to ensure our content isn’t just seen, but that it drives measurable revenue impact.
Key Responsibilities
LLM-Optimised Content & SEO
• Lead Go Swag’s LLM search strategy. Implement structured data, llms.txt, schema markup, and AI-friendly content structures.
• Research, plan and produce cornerstone content (guides, reports, case studies) that positions Go Swag as the authority in corporate gifting.
• Create and maintain a content roadmap aligned with buying cycles, seasonal trends and emerging search technologies.
• Work with external PR, partners and media to generate backlinks and authority mentions that increase AI citation likelihood.
Content Creation & Management
• Develop email campaign ideas, write and edit copy for these campaigns, LinkedIn posts, sales enablement assets, landing pages and product descriptions.
• Collaborate with design to produce high-impact visual assets (infographics, carousels, social creatives, downloadable guides).
• Repurpose content into multiple formats (video scripts, carousel posts, short-form snippets) for maximum reach.
• Manage the content calendar and ensure consistent brand voice and messaging across all channels.
Campaign & Channel Optimisation
• Develop email sequences for lead generation, upsell and re-engagement campaigns.
• Work with the Head of Growth to integrate content into paid ad campaigns for increased conversion rates.
• Track, measure, and optimise content performance using analytics tools.
Industry Leadership
• Stay ahead of LLM search developments and apply best practices to keep Go Swag in front of algorithm changes.
• Monitor competitors, industry news and trends to identify new opportunities for Go Swag to lead conversations.
About You
You’re a content marketer who loves creating content that actually drives growth. You’re equal parts creative storyteller and performance-driven marketer, with an interest in how AI and LLM search are reshaping content visibility.
Skills & Experience:
• Proven experience in content marketing, ideally in B2B, e-commerce, SaaS or product marketing.
• Strong writing and editing skills. From crisp sales copy to long-form thought leadership.
• Experience with SEO best practices and structured data markup (schema, FAQ Pages, How-To, etc.).
• Understanding of (and willingness to learn) AI/LLM search trends and how they impact content discoverability.
• Experience writing and managing email marketing campaigns (HubSpot experience a bonus).
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines and work cross-functionally with creative, sales and growth teams.
• Comfortable interpreting data to make content decisions.
Why You’ll Love It Here
• Impact: Your work will directly influence Go Swag’s visibility, pipeline and revenue.
• Innovation: You’ll be at the forefront of LLM-optimised content strategy in our industry.
• Collaboration: Work with a passionate, high-growth team who love making great things happen.
• Growth: We’re scaling fast, your role can grow with us.
• Competitive salary + bonus potential, 30 days holiday and a culture that values creativity and results.
If you want to be the person who makes Go Swag the number one content source in global corporate gifting, we want to hear from you.
Apply now with your CV, portfolio/examples of work and a short note on why you’re the perfect fit.
