The Purpose of the role:
The successful candidate will play a key role in a growing team who are achieving national recognition for their digital and data focused work.
This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive CRM strategy that drives customer engagement, loyalty, and revenue growth across all customer touchpoints.
You will drive the evolution of customer data, establishing new processes to capture and use customer data more effectively, integrating the CRM into the broader ecosystem of platforms in the business, monitoring data quality and providing support and training where needed.
Working as CRM Manager you will:
• Partner with Product, Sales, E-Commerce, and Marketing to maximise CRM and customer data impact.
• Define and deliver CRM strategies to boost engagement, retention, and loyalty (online and offline).
• Foster a strong CRM culture, advocating value, demonstrating impact, and removing blockers.
• Review the existing CRM software and how it delivers against business objectives and functional requirements.
• Act as the CRM data expert, evolving practices in line with best standards.
• Manage and optimise CRM tools to drive personalised, insights-led campaigns.
• Analyse customer behaviour to influence engagement.
• Curate the right customer data in our CRM, with the correct quality, structure, permissions and segmentations to effectively engage customers in line with data protection regulations (including GDPR).
• Create and map new processes to integrate the CRM’s data flow across the business, including ERP, E-commerce and e-marketing platforms.
• Track, measure, and report on CRM campaign performance and usage, including both end-user and management/C-suite focused insights.
• Support the broader marketing team and undertake other related duties as required.
Skills for Success
Joining us as CRM Manager the minimum criteria you’ll need is:
• A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent qualifications), including English and Mathematics.
• Strong working experience or training on a range of CRM software tools and platforms
• Hands-on experience managing customer data within CRM platforms, with a talent for turning insights into impactful customer strategies.
• Deep understanding of customer lifecycle management and how to enhance engagement at every stage.
• Skilled in building effective customer segmentation strategies that drive targeted communications.
• Experienced in project management, with the ability to deliver results on time and to a high standard.
• Ability to work effectively across departments and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
• Solid knowledge of GDPR and data protection, with a practical understanding of how to apply these principles in a business context.
• Full Valid UK/EU Driving License with access to your own vehicle
The Attributes you’ll need include:
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Process driven
• Sound technical understanding of CRM systems and processes
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical people
• Comfortable with using insight and data to inform their work.

It is Desirable if you have:
• A third-level qualification or a relevant professional certification aligned with the role.
• Experience working within a B2B (business-to-business) environment.
• Hands-on use of Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) in combination with a CRM system.
• Skilled in digital analytics (e.g. Google Analytics).
• Practical experience conducting A/B testing
• Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and personalisation strategies.
• Experience collaborating with e-commerce and/or marketing teams.
• Ability to deliver user training and support.
• Experience managing relationships with third-party vendors or service providers.
• Understanding of the Foodservice industry.
