The Digital Commerce Manager acts as the ecommerce point of contact for multiple partner accounts related to their ecommerce business. The Digital Manager also takes more of a strategic role with projects and initiatives that impact the entire Digital Commerce department. This individual is responsible for managing the web site, driving sales growth, implementing new digital products and services that add value for our consumers, and provide an excellent customer experience. This person will leverage our web site analytics and utilize the ensuing data to maximize the digital business. Key Responsibilities And Accountabilities • Oversee ecommerce strategy in order to drive net sales and activate our audiences • Evaluate and determine best tools and solutions to implement to drive revenue, customer value, and community • Define and improve site’s funnel of users and adjust content to maximize results • Ensure the store is current with product content, descriptions, imagery, and inventory • Coordinate with photographers/studio to get digital assets for the product of digital marketing • Provide consistent year over year same‐store growth • Monitor, analyze, and report on trends, sales, transaction data, and customer feedback • Seamlessly transition new business opportunities by providing a best‐in‐class ecommerce solution • Define and execute strategic plans for products to promote • Understand the customer and ensure the site and digital marketing efforts reflect and augment their needs • Drive visitor conversion rates • Participate in regular weekly, monthly, and quarterly discussions to provide updates on the health and status of the online store • Partner with internal product, marketing, and store teams to develop unique and profitable ecommerce assortments • Commitment to work collaboratively and respectfully toward resolving obstacles and/or conflicts. Skills / Qualifications: • Collaborative player with the confidence and integrity to earn partner and internal team confidence quickly • Previous eCommerce or fulfillment experience is a plus • Previous experience with backend ecommerce platforms, Shopify • Previous retail and customer service experience also a plus • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills • Able to provide optimal guest service ensuring that guest needs are met in a timely manner • Intermediate Excel and PowerPoint experience is a plus • Must be able to multi-task, answer multi-line phones and be computer literate • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience • Conventional and/ or ecommerce retail background • 5 + years’ experience successfully leading digital strategy, ecommerce, mobile, social networking/ media projects and initiatives • Knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, FBA, and AMS preferred • Project management, preferably specific to backend website development • Multi/cross‐channel marketing, merchandising, sales, and communication • Exceptional team player with the confidence and integrity to earn partner and internal team confidence quickly Physical Demands – The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
