Role Overview
We’re hiring a data-driven Digital Marketing Manager to own performance and owned channels end-to-end. You’ll plan and execute cross-channel growth programs—covering paid & performance and owned & SEO/content—and turn insights into scale. You’ll bring a rigorous testing mindset, clear reporting, and a commercial approach to budget and efficiency. This role suits a growth marketer with 5+ years’ experience in high growth businesses, who’s analytical, creative, and comfortable moving fast in a founder-led brand.
Key Responsibilities (5 areas)
🎯 Growth Strategy & Paid/Performance Channels
• Own the full portfolio of paid/performance channels: paid social, search/PPC & Shopping, display/video (incl. YouTube/programmatic), affiliates/creator-whitelisting, and retail media.
• Build a structured experimentation roadmap (audience, creative, bidding, landing pages) with clear hypotheses and success criteria.
• Manage budgets, pacing and efficiency across the funnel (awareness → consideration → conversion → retention).
📬 Owned Channels & Lifecycle (CRM)
• Lead email/SMS (Klaviyo), onsite messaging, and push: segmentation, personalisation, deliverability, automations and A/B testing.
• Orchestrate journeys and campaigns that drive first purchase, repeat, subscription and LTV; maintain a high-tempo campaign/calendar.
🔎 SEO & Content (Future-Ready)
• Own search strategy across technical, on-page and content SEO—and prepare for AI-era search (AI Overviews/answer engines, LLM discovery/ChatGPT).
• Implement structured data and E-E-A-T best practices; brief content that serves search intent and assists conversion across the funnel.
• Partner with Content to produce/repurpose assets that compound organic reach and performance.
📈 Analytics, Attribution & Forecasting
• Define KPIs and nuild performance dashboards; maintain clean tracking (GA4, UTMs, pixels/conversions, Looker Studio).
• Build forecasts and scenario models.
🤝 Collaboration & Agency Management
• Manage a wide-ranging group of agencies and freelancers (performance, analytics, affiliates).
• Write clear briefs, SOWs and targets.
• Align cross-functionally with E-commerce/Marketplace (CRO, landing pages, retail media) and Content (creative supply).
Requirements
Must-Haves
• 5–6 years in digital/growth marketing for consumer brands.
• Experience across paid marketing channels, including Meta Ads, Google Ads (Search/Shopping/Video) and others (display/video, paid social, affiliates, retail media).
• Lifecycle/CRM ownership on Klaviyo (flows, segmentation, deliverability, testing).
• SEO & content knowledge: technical, on-page and content SEO; ability to brief content that ranks and converts; awareness of AI-driven search/answer engines.
• Proficient with data/measurement & presentation tools: GA4, Looker Studio, Excel/Sheets.
• Commercial and analytical mindset with excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management.
