This role sits within the RS Digital Team, a dynamic and forward-thinking group at the heart of the company’s digital transformation journey. The team is responsible for shaping the future of the RS website and digital customer experience, making it an exciting place to work for those passionate about innovation and impact. With a strong focus on customer-centric design and agile delivery, the team works on initiatives such as enhancing search functionality using large-scale data analysis, integrating with enterprise systems like SAP, and continuously improving the user experience through A/B testing and continuous product discovery. It’s a collaborative environment where product managers, designers, developers, and stakeholders come together to deliver meaningful digital solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.
About The Role
Role Purpose
You will be a key member of the RS digital team, driving forward the features and functionality for our website as we continue our digital transformation. Reporting to the Lead Digital Product Manager, you will be responsible for the product vision and roadmap, analysing customer problems and collaborating with stakeholders throughout the business to assess needs, and working on the Agile team to deliver valuable online solutions
Responsibilities
• Build, own, and communicate the product vision and roadmap for your agile product team
• Develop actionable insights from large search data sets
• Operate with a customer-first mind set, work alongside the Agile team and Product Owner to deliver value “early and often” to the customer
• Translate the product vision into an actionable product feature backlog
• Manage the full product lifecycle from start to finish – gather requirements, develop user stories and acceptance criteria, coordinate with design team for UX/UI, respond to development questions, and plan releases
• Collaborate and communicate with a variety of internal stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback, provide updates and transparency, and act as the conduit through which we match the needs of our customers with the strategy of the organization
• Collaborate in the development of investment proposals as needed
• Work with IS as needed to ensure a successful end-to-end integration with SAP and other internal systems
• Consider any change management required with new features, working with the business to facilitate any education and adoption that may be needed
• Collaborate with the entire digital product management team regarding business priority and overall product vision
• Develop strong relationships and manage engagements with third party vendors
• Define and report on KPIs to the business within the product area of ownership

Candidate Requirements
Essential Skills & Experience
• 4+ years’ experience in an ecommerce product manager or owner role or relevant experience
• Strong research and analytical skills including the ability to structure problems for analysis, query data, and understanding root cause
• Experience working on a cross-functional agile team
• Experience managing a product backlog and roadmap
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communications and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable presenting in front of groups, including executive management
• Must be able to work with autonomy
• Experience working with and managing 3rd party resources
• Knowledge and understanding of web architecture, web development and usability
Desirable Skills & Experience
• Familiarity with Continuous Product Discovery and A/B testing principles
• Base knowledge of Machine Learning
Essential Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related area
