Digital Program/Project Manager – Project Leader
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Salary: $130,000–$145,000 + 15% Target Bonus
About the Role
LHH is partnering with our client to hire a Digital Program/Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale, high-impact digital initiatives—including advanced ecommerce platforms, Salesforce ecosystem implementations, and integrated web solutions. This role is a key driver in the organization’s digital business transformation, serving as the primary point of contact between stakeholders, vendors, and development teams for multi-million-dollar programs.
The successful candidate will bring deep knowledge of web application development, content management systems, API integration, database design, and system architecture—paired with proven expertise in Salesforce implementation. This is a hands-on program leadership position where you will own the scope, timeline, and budget for critical projects while managing vendor relationships and coordinating cross-functional delivery teams across the U.S., India, China, and Central America.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead multiple, complex digital programs with budgets exceeding $1M+—owning delivery across Waterfall, Agile, and hybrid methodologies.
• Partner with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and resources while managing risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Coordinate with offshore, nearshore, and onshore teams to ensure successful execution and hand-off to long-term support functions.
• Oversee Salesforce platform implementations (Core, Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, and additional ecosystem products).
• Manage vendor relationships, including contract terms, resource planning, and performance oversight.
• Build status reports and executive presentations to communicate progress, milestones, risks, and recommendations.
• Adapt delivery approach based on project needs—navigating both highly structured and fast-paced iterative environments.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of digital project management experience with a strong ecommerce focus; 7–10 years preferred for program-level leadership.
• Proven Salesforce implementation experience.
• Deep understanding of web application development, CMS platforms, API integration, databases, and system design.
• Experience managing multi-vendor delivery and distributed development teams (offshore/nearshore).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, and other project scheduling tools.
• PMP and/or Scrum Master certification preferred.
Soft Skills & Culture Fit
• Highly organized, self-directed, and adaptable to changing priorities.
• Strong stakeholder management and vendor partnership skills.
• Thrives in a collaborative, diverse, and global team environment.
• Comfortable switching between strategic oversight and tactical execution.
Compensation & Work Environment
• Salary: $130,000–$145,000 + 15% target bonus
• Location: Indianapolis, IN
• Flexible hours with occasional early morning/late-night/weekend work during implementations.
• Comprehensive benefits and PTO package available.
