About Us
S&S Activewear is a leading North American, tech-enabled specialty distributor of imprintable apparel, including t-shirts, fleece, athletic wear, headwear, workwear, scrubs and accessories. We pride ourselves on being the “critical link” that enables our 100+ brand partners such as Adidas, Columbia and Gildan to reach our hyper-fragmented base of customers, comprised of apparel decorators, eRetailers and promotional products distributors that embellish apparel items for diverse end consumer use cases (e.g., everyday wear, concerts, fitness attire, life events, team sports, etc.). At S&S, we differentiate in the market through a customer service focus, strategic product portfolio, world-class distribution infrastructure, a collaborative growth culture and a relentless focus on technology and innovation.
Our success has compounded since the Company’s humble beginnings in 1988 as a regional t-shirt distributor to a leading, multi-billion-dollar value-added distribution platform that drives market penetration for our suppliers while enabling growth, operations and fulfillment for a diverse range of customers across channels and business sizes. We strive to be the apparel distributor of choice while inspiring and fostering growth for customers, employees and suppliers through our core values of service, deep relationships, innovation, continuous improvement and accountability.
About The Role
We are seeking a strategic, creative, and results-driven Director of Content Marketing to lead unified brand storytelling, lifecycle strategy, customer education, and digital content across all touchpoints. This leader will own go-to-market messaging, oversee the content marketing team, and partner cross-functionally to deliver content and campaigns that drive awareness, pipeline growth, and customer success.
This is a high-visibility, high-impact role responsible for planning and executing multi-channel B2B content initiatives—from thought leadership to lifecycle programs—that position our brand as an industry leader and fuel measurable business outcomes.

What You Will Do
Content & Campaign Strategy
• Lead the development and execution of a multi-channel content marketing strategy aligned to growth goals for brand awareness, lead generation, and pipeline acceleration.
• Define and own go-to-market messaging across all stages of the customer journey, ensuring consistency across web, email, events, sales enablement, catalogs, and social channels.
• Activate a B2B content flywheel, creating relevant, high-value content for prospects, customers, and partners at the right moments.
• Partner with Marketing Managers to deliver integrated campaigns that support brand, product launches, and enablement initiatives.
Content Development & Execution
• Create and scale educational, thought leadership, and product-related content that engages and informs.
• Oversee content across the full spectrum of B2B touchpoints: white papers, case studies, articles, emails, catalogs, panel/session descriptions, guides, and social content.
• Leverage AI and digital tools to scale content production while maintaining high quality.
• Partner with Commercial Analytics (consumer insights), SMEs, and Sales Enablement to ensure content reflects customer needs and market trends.
Channel Leadership & Oversight
• Provide strategic direction and accountability for channel owners (Digital, Catalog, and Social Media), ensuring their distinct strategies and KPIs ladder up to the broader content marketing vision.
• Oversee the planning, prioritization, and execution of channel-specific initiatives—including digital/web experiences, catalog merchandising, and social media engagement.

• Provide clear feedback, coaching, and inspiration that elevates the team’s work.
• Collaborate across functions including Merchandising, Sales, Commercial, Creative, Sales Enablement, Ecommerce, and Customer Service.
Performance & Optimization
• Establish KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure content impact on awareness, engagement, pipeline, and retention.
• Continuously optimize content programs, applying urgency and accountability to deliver measurable outcomes.
What WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• 8–10+ years of experience in B2B content or marketing leadership roles, with proven ability to drive business results through content.
• Demonstrated success in developing scaled B2B content and messaging that engages target audiences and accelerates pipeline.
• Strong perspective on the right channels, platforms, and partners to reach and influence B2B customers.
• Experience mapping customer journeys and executing content plans that support every stage of the lifecycle.
• Track record of managing both direct reports and channel owners, balancing empowerment with accountability.
• Expertise in thought leadership, social, email, catalog, and digital/web content, with the ability to apply best practices to maximize engagement and conversion.
