Role description
We’re hiring a Director of D2C to lead strategy and execution across eCommerce, CRM, performance marketing, and promotional planning. This role is responsible for growing the D2C channel with precision and urgency, turning clicks into conversions, campaigns into revenue, and customer journeys into long-term loyalty. You’ll partner closely with marketing, creative, product, and leadership to deliver a best-in-class experience from first impression to repeat purchase. You’ll also work in lockstep with our athlete and influencer teams to ensure seamless integration between athlete marketing and D2C growth. This isn’t just a management role - it’s an opportunity to build and lead the engine that drives Raw Nutrition’s growth. Responsibilities: Promotional & Campaign Planning • Develop and manage the D2C promotional calendar, including product launches, sitewide sales, athlete activations, and seasonal campaigns • Partner with operations, creative, sales, and influencer marketing teams on go-to-market execution • Use D2C performance insights to inform broader product, athlete, and marketing strategy eCommerce (Shopify & Website Ops) • Oversee the eCommerce team and own day-to-day performance of Raw’s DTC storefront • Drive sales, AOV, and conversion through optimized merchandising, UX, CRO testing, and mobile-first design • Collaborate with creative and influencer teams to launch landing pages, bundles, and product drops featuring key athletes • Stay ahead of the curve with best-in-class apps, tools, and site integrations Performance Marketing • Oversee internal media buying team • Lead paid strategy across Meta, Google, TikTok, affiliate, and retargeting channels - with a focus on amplifying athlete content and driving qualified traffic • Work closely with the influencer marketing team to boost high-converting athlete content through paid social • Track and report on CAC, ROAS, LTV, and new customer growth • Coordinate closely with content and creative to produce ads, assets, and landing pages CRM & Customer Lifecycle • Manage CRM strategy through external agency partners • Own all email and SMS marketing efforts: campaign planning, segmentation, A/B testing • Drive retention, loyalty, and personalized lifecycle flows • Build strategies to grow repeat rate, CLTV, and transactional frequency Background: • 5+ years of experience in eCommerce, ideally in supplements or CPG • Proven ability to grow an eComm P&L and scale DTC channels • Strong grasp of Shopify Plus, Klaviyo (or equivalent), Meta Ads, Google Ads, GA4 • Experience collaborating closely with athlete and influencer teams; understands how to leverage athlete partnerships to drive D2C growth • Assertive leadership - someone who is proactive, vocal, and action-oriented in cross-functional settings • Strong time management, deadline ownership, and campaign accountability • Deep knowledge of the customer journey, from acquisition to retention, including the role of athletes in community building and storytelling • Strategic thinker and tactical executor - you can zoom out to plan and zoom in to ship • Comfortable working cross-functionally with creative, product, growth, and ops Details: • Location: Port St. Lucie, FL (Onsite) • Compensation: $130-$150k, plus 10% performance bonus
