About the Role
Our client—a global leader in electronics and semiconductors—is seeking a Director of Digital Data & Customer Platforms to lead the transformation of their B2B digital commerce and customer experience strategy.
This role is focused on building out their digital selling capabilities and enhancing personalization across digital channels. You’ll oversee a cross-functional team of 40–60 professionals across engineering, data, digital, and marketing to modernize their core customer platforms, including TI.com.
Your Responsibilities
• Architecting scalable, cloud-based data platforms that support customer identity, behavior tracking, and real-time personalization
• Building AI/ML-powered personalization and recommendation engines tailored to a highly technical product catalog
• Collaborating with product, UX, and engineering to create streamlined, personalized customer journeys from login to checkout
• Leading strategies for first-party data capture, consent management, and privacy compliance (CCPA, GDPR)
• Driving platform modernization through APIs, microservices, and CI/CD workflows
• Delivering analytics and experimentation frameworks to optimize search, behavior insights, and conversion
• Partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, and Strategic Investments to align digital initiatives with commercial goals
What We’re Looking For
• 10+ years in data, digital platform, or analytics leadership roles (including 3+ years as a Director or equivalent)
• Expertise in customer identity systems (CDP, SSO, CIAM), personalization, segmentation, and behavioral analytics
• Strong hands-on or prior technical background in AI/ML, data engineering, or platform architecture
• Deep understanding of digital commerce for physical products in B2B environment
• Experience managing cross-functional teams and leading enterprise-scale digital transformations
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related; Master’s or MBA preferred
Bonus Experience
• Background in semiconductors, electronics, or technical product environments
• Familiarity with customer data integration, digital marketing platforms, and product catalog structuring
• Product ownership or leadership within a high-scale, transactional digital ecosystem
