Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of E-Commerce & Marketing to lead our Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) initiatives and digital marketing efforts. This individual will be responsible for driving growth across our e-commerce platforms, enhancing customer journeys, and improving overall digital performance. The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a hands-on approach and deep experience in performance marketing, site optimization, and e-commerce operations. This is an on-site position located in Huntington Beach, CA.

• Platform Resource Negotiation & Campaign Execution
Must-have: Proven track record in negotiating with platforms (e.g., Amazon, Walmart, Target, Wayfair) to secure high-impact promotional deals (e.g., flash sales, traffic support).
Measurable evidence: Past campaign results (e.g., “achieved X% GMV uplift via Y platform’s X promo”). DEMONSTRATED ability to increase sales by X% on the Y platform over a defined period.
• E-commerce Operations Secondary but essential: Hands-on expertise in marketplace mechanics—traffic acquisition, conversion optimization, and platform compliance. Candidates must have deep e-commerce experience; purely offline sales backgrounds are not a fit.

Essential Functions
• Lead and manage DTC e-commerce operations with accountability for revenue, conversion, and profitability
• Own and execute digital marketing strategies across paid search, social, display, retargeting, affiliate, and influencer marketing
• Oversee website functionality, CRO, UI/UX, and digital merchandising to enhance customer experience and conversion rates
• Develop and execute content and campaign calendars aligned with business goals and seasonal opportunities
• Utilize Shopify and related tools to manage site operations and implement performance improvements
• Drive email, SMS, and CRM strategies to increase retention, repeat purchases, and customer lifetime value
• Monitor analytics to inform campaign optimization, customer behavior, and marketing performance (e.g., Google Analytics, Big Query)
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure brand alignment across all channels and minimize channel conflict
• Build and lead a high-performing team across digital marketing, merchandising, and analytics functions
• Manage marketing budgets with a focus on efficiency, ROI, and customer acquisition cost (CAC)
• Stay informed on e-commerce trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, ECommerce, or a related field; MBA preferred
• 8+ years of experience in digital marketing and/or ecommerce, with 3+ years in a senior leadership capacity
• Demonstrated success in scaling DTC businesses and optimizing digital customer journeys
• Expertise in Shopify, paid media strategy, SEO, retention marketing, and influencer/affiliate channels
