Director of eCommerce - Remote Role in Draper, UT or Los Angeles, CA The Company: DIME Beauty's mission is to create luxurious skincare and beauty products that are clean, effective, and affordable. Position Description: The Director of eCommerce is responsible for leading the growth of our direct-to-consumer (DTC) business. They define the vision, roadmap, and performance of dimebeautyco.com. They have deep expertise in conversion rate optimization (CRO), personalization, analytics, and customer journey optimization, with a strong bias toward action and a proven ability to deliver revenue growth. This role is both strategic and operational—ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data, user experience (UX), and performance marketing. Duties/Responsibilities: DTC Strategy & Ownership • Own the e-commerce roadmap and long-term vision for dimebeautyco.com, aligning with company revenue goals • Define and execute quarterly and annual strategies focused on improving key performance indicators (KPIs), including conversion rate, average order value (AOV), retention, and revenue per visitor • Collaborate with leadership on forecasting, budgeting, and goal setting for the DTC channel Site Optimization & Personalization • Lead and execute a conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategy using A/B testing, session recordings, heatmaps, and user feedback • Own onsite personalization initiatives that adapt content, offers, and experiences based on user behavior, lifecycle stage, and traffic source • Continuously improve customer journey flows from landing page to checkout with UX best practices Analytics & Performance Management • Monitor, analyze, and report on key metrics (e.g. conversion rate (CVR), bounce rate, revenue per visitor (RPV), AOV, customer lifetime value (LTV)) to guide decisions and highlight opportunities • Identify friction points across the funnel and use data to drive optimizations. Technology & Platform Management • Oversee e-commerce platform performance (e.g., Shopify Plus), ensuring uptime, speed, and seamless integrations • Manage third-party apps and tech stack (loyalty, subscriptions, upsells, personalization, reviews, quizzes, etc.) • Collaborate with development partners and agencies on customizations and feature rollouts • Develop a roadmap for the DIME app and needed feature set to optimize customer engagement with app. Cross-Operating Collaboration • Work closely with marketing, creative, product, and customer experience teams to align DTC site experience with brand campaigns and product launches. Partner with retention and lifecycle marketing to drive returning customer value through email, SMS, and post-purchase journeys • Coordinate with paid media teams to optimize landing pages for traffic sources and campaigns Other • Completes assigned training on time • Other duties as assigned Requirements: • Proven track record of owning and improving conversion rate and customer journey metrics • Highly analytical, KPI-driven, and fluent in using data to prioritize initiatives Qualifications, Education and Experience: • 5–8 years of experience in e-commerce, ideally within a high-growth DTC brand or agency • Strong understanding of Shopify Plus, eComm UX/UI, mobile optimization, and performance tracking • Experience with CRO tools (e.g. Google Optimize, VWO, Hotjar, Convert, PostPilot) and analytics platforms (GA4, Looker, or similar) • Familiarity with personalization and segmentation strategies using first-party data using a third-party tool (Bloomreach or similar) • Self-starter with strong project management skills—comfortable independently driving execution and roadmap delivery • Experience in beauty, skincare, or wellness brands preferred Physical Requirements: • Works in a remote environment, either in a home or office setting • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Regularly required to sit, talk, hear, and use fingers to operate a computer Powered by JazzHR gHwRfs7wpm
