We are a fast-growing startup with a patented farm stand concept and a robust farm locator platform.
We are looking for a dynamic eCommerce and Procurement Manager to lead the setup and expansion of our e-commerce store while ensuring a consistent pipeline of high-quality products to serve our customers. The role involves overseeing supplier evaluation, contract negotiation, analytical skills application, procurement, and contract management on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities
eCommerce Management
- Oversee the development and launch of Vinestopsโ eCommerce platform, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Manage all aspects of the online store, including product listings, pricing, promotions, and merchandising.
- Collaborate with web developers to optimize the website for performance, accessibility, and scalability.
- Analyze eCommerce performance metrics (e.g., traffic, conversion rates, and sales) and implement strategies to boost revenue.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive traffic to the platform, including SEO, email campaigns, and social media integration.
- Ensure secure payment processing and compliance with privacy and data protection standards.
Product Sourcing & Procurement
- Identify and source new products for the eCommerce store, including farm stand options, merchandise, and other relevant items.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, farmers, and vendors to ensure a consistent supply chain.
- Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, focusing on cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and potential product opportunities.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the marketing team to align product offerings with promotional campaigns.
- Collaborate with customer support to address product-related inquiries and improve customer satisfaction.
- Partner with logistics teams to ensure streamlined order fulfillment and delivery processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelorโs degree in Business, eCommerce, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in eCommerce management or product sourcing, preferably in a startup environment.
- Proven track record of setting up and managing an eCommerce platform (experience with Wix is a plus).
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in eCommerce tools, analytics platforms, and inventory management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Knowledge of farm-fresh products or agricultural industries is a bonus.
