Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Director of Ecommerce located in Detroit, MI. The Director of Ecommerce will be responsible for overseeing the company's ecommerce operations and strategies. Key day-to-day tasks include developing and executing ecommerce strategies, handling fulfillment and procurement, managing ecommerce platforms, and providing customer support. Additionally, this role involves working closely with various departments to ensure sales growth and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and scale ecommerce operations, driving significant revenue growth and market expansion
• Oversee end-to-end fulfillment operations including inventory management, shipping protocols, and order processing
• Manage comprehensive product catalog including strategic merchandising, photography coordination, and data optimization
• Lead customer service initiatives by managing inquiries, returns, and communications across multiple channels
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with suppliers, warehouse teams, marketing agencies, and logistics partners
• Analyze performance data and KPIs to identify operational gaps and implement solutions that improve efficiency and profitability
• Manage social media presence and advertisement
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
• 1+ years of ecommerce or digital operations experience
• Experience managing product catalogs and inventory systems
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and web analytics tools
• Experience with ecommerce platforms and ERP systems
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Cross-functional collaboration and project management experience
