Our current engagement is with a multi-billion-dollar global client undergoing a transformative e-commerce modernization initiative. The Role: We are seeking an experienced E-Commerce Architect to lead the design and architecture of complex commerce solutions. This individual will sit at the intersection of technology strategy and executive communication—translating business needs into scalable digital commerce architectures. While a delivery team will execute on design assets (Figma, React, wireframes), this role is responsible for setting the architectural direction, ensuring alignment with enterprise systems, and advising stakeholders at all levels. Key Responsibilities: • Define and architect end-to-end e-commerce solutions that align with client strategy and enterprise systems. • Partner with senior business stakeholders (VPs, C-Suite) to translate commercial, supply chain, and customer experience goals into technical roadmaps. • Act as the primary consulting lead, ensuring alignment across engineering, design, and business functions. • Provide solution oversight to teams handling front-end design and development (React, Figma, wireframing). • Deliver executive-level presentations and solution recommendations with clarity and authority. • Serve as a trusted advisor, drawing on management consulting experience to guide strategic trade-offs. Qualifications: • 10+ years in technology consulting, solution architecture, or digital commerce leadership roles. • Proven experience leading enterprise-scale e-commerce or digital platform transformations. • Strong background in consulting methodologies and executive stakeholder management. • Ability to communicate and present effectively to VP and C-Suite stakeholders. • Broad understanding of digital commerce platforms, supply chain systems, and order-to-cash processes. • Hands-on familiarity with front-end architecture (React, Figma, modern UI/UX frameworks) is a plus—but this role is more about solution direction than coding.
