Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical E-Commerce Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our online sales channels, utilizing data-driven insights to enhance customer experience and drive revenue growth. This role requires a strong understanding of e-commerce platforms, data analysis, and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.
Duties
Develop and implement strategies to enhance online sales performance across various e-commerce platforms.
Analyze sales data using tools such as Tableau and Microsoft SQL Server to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize product listings, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
Utilize machine learning techniques to improve customer targeting and personalization efforts.
Manage database design and ETL processes to ensure accurate data flow from various sources into our data warehouse.
Work with technologies including AWS, Oracle, Hadoop, Spark, and linked data to support e-commerce initiatives.
Conduct regular audits of the e-commerce site to ensure optimal performance and user experience.
Maintain documentation of processes and workflows in alignment with Agile methodologies.
Requirements
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
Strong analytical skills with experience in databases, SQL, and data warehousing concepts.
Familiarity with Bash (Unix shell) for scripting tasks related to data processing.
Experience working with ETL tools and methodologies is highly desirable.
Knowledge of Agile project management principles is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically about complex issues.
