Role description
Buyers Products Company, a leading manufacturer in the work truck industry, is searching for a E-commerce Strategy Senior Analyst for Amazon to complement the skills and talents of our National Accounts Team. Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Amazon 1P account. The candidate should be an energetic, efficient, passionate, and detail-oriented individual to join our team and help us grow.
Primary Job Duties:
• Assist in creating and executing strategic account plans, aligning to company channel strategies to drive revenue growth and brand awareness for Buyers Products
• Track key performance indicators (critical metrics) related to Amazon sales, customer engagement, and operational efficiency.
• Manage product launches and implement strategies to boost and maintain product rankings within the Amazon platform
• Key stakeholder & advisor for Annual Vendor Negotiations with vendor management team
• Manage the day-to-day responsibilities for all aspects of Amazon, including forecast management, compliance reporting, and performance reporting
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and changes in Amazon policies to ensure competitiveness.
• Manage all ASIN activity, including ASIN performance, rankings, ratings, and customer reviews
• Lead research and diagnostic evaluations at a SKU level for both existing and competitive products to evaluate share of voice and sales performance
• Communicate and work collaboratively with Inventory, Logistics, Marketing, Product & Finance teams to gain alignment in achieving overall business goals
• Coordinate with marketing teams to align promotional efforts across digital channels
Skills/ Experience:
• 3-5 years in related e-commerce experience with the Amazon marketplace on the platform side or brand side.
• Experience with Amazon Marketing Services 1-3 years
• Excellent written and verbal communication—clear, concise, and capable of explaining complex concepts
• Strong analytical skills (comfortable with Excel and database tools; experience with SQL is a plus)
• Ability to drive projects independently and thrive in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Demonstrated success in driving sales growth and managing Amazon-specific initiatives.
Education Background:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising or Marketing preferred
• Experience in Vendor or Seller Central required.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
• Mobility and dexterity to move around office settings including accessing file cabinets or storage and navigating to different workstations.
• Must be able to remain stationary for extended periods of time and engage in some repetitive motion.
• Standing, walking and sitting for extended periods of time.
