Role Description
We’re seeking a highly organized and Excel-savvy eCommerce Assistant to support our growing online business. In this role, you will be responsible for managing product listings, maintaining accurate and up-to-date data, and assisting with various eCommerce operations across multiple online marketplaces. Your attention to detail and efficiency in Excel will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities
• Create, update, and optimize product listings on platforms such as Shopify, Mirakl, Amazon, and others
• Enter and manage data related to product details, pricing, inventory, and categorization
• Use Excel and other tools for bulk uploads, reporting, and data maintenance
• Ensure product listings are complete, accurate, and visually consistent
• Perform regular audits to identify and correct listing errors or discrepancies
• Upload product descriptions, specifications, images, and metadata (SEO, tags, etc.)
• Assist with photo uploads and basic image editing or formatting as needed
• Collaborate with the marketing, operations, and warehouse teams to ensure listings reflect real-time stock and promotions
• Stay up-to-date with marketplace trends and best practices to improve listing performance
• Provide general eCommerce support as needed across departments
Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in eCommerce support or data entry
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data formatting, sorting/filtering, etc.)
• Experience with eCommerce platforms such as Shopify, Mirakl, or similar
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
• Basic knowledge of SEO and product listing best practices
• Experience with bulk listing tools or feed management software is a plus
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and handle multiple projects
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic graphic design or image editing experience is a plus
Location: On-site in Metuchen, NJ
Schedule: Full-time (Monday–Friday)
