About The Roleβ¦
We are currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as an Ecommerce Channel Merchandiser. In this position, your focus will be on the relationship between our products and our customers using digital forms of media to improve sales. This work includes slotting promotions, writing copy, optimizing product landing pages and product presentation and reimagining the customer shopping experience, managing time-sensitive sales offers, and spearheading short-term and long-term tasks focused on improving sales to our website.
The ideal candidate is incredibly creative, enjoys the cigar lifestyle, relishes the opportunity to create, and has a keen eye for aesthetics and how they relate to the consumer buying experience, and can analyze the performance of their work. In all, the Ecommerce Channel Merchandiser will not only be tasked to maintain the sales we already hold, but will also engage in forward-thinking, innovative activities to improve our online business through digital advertising and promotions wherever possible.
WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
β’ Direct and execute digital campaigns focused on but not limited to email sales and website promotions.
β’ Work to optimize the online aspects of the brand including, but not limited to, email sales and communication, product landing pages, time-oriented deals, etc.
β’ Understand and continually learn about the best practices in todayβs quickly changing Ecommerce and digital landscape Manage and merchandise across various business systems and platforms
β’ Drive new sales opportunities with our Marketing team and our external vendors
β’ Work effectively with our Design department to create and fine-tune the ideal graphics to accompany our sales
β’ Create and maintain strong relationships with the other departments and entities
β’ Act as a resource to our Contact Center and Retail Stores for product related information and to help answer customer inquiries
β’ Balance short term, deadline-driven tasks against larger-scale projects
β’ Plan and execute long-term campaigns to prevent overlap of promotions from our print media campaigns.
β’ Help to ensure all promotions and campaigns are executed on-time, function as expected, and are designed with the ease of the customer in mind
β’ Be a motivated self-starter who relishes the opportunity to be challenged every day
β’ Having strong skills in Excel to thrive in our data and analysis-rich business
β’ Assume additional responsibilities as required
