Role description
We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced E-Commerce Manager to lead the charge in transforming an online business. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll oversee all aspects of the e-commerce ecosystem, from end-to-end logistics coordination to user experience and revenue growth. This is a strategic, hands-on role where you’ll collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to deliver a seamless digital experience for clients—ranging from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Responsibilities: • Develop and implement e-commerce strategies that align with the company’s goals, driving online revenue and strengthening existing partnerships. • Enhance the B2B user journey simplifying product selection, order management, and support to boost satisfaction and loyalty among our diverse client base. • Manage daily operations of the e-commerce platform, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in order processing and fulfillment. • Develop and manage e-commerce budgets and optimize costs while maximizing profitability across online channels. • Track KPIs such as order accuracy, fulfillment speed, client retention, and revenue growth, providing actionable insights to leadership. • Create a user experience (UX) that is intuitive and provides a seamless buying experience. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., MBA, CPIM) a plus. • 5+ years of proven experience in e-commerce operations management, ideally in a B2B or managed services environment. • Proven ability to grow revenue in an e-commerce business. • Proficiency with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, Magento, or custom solutions) and tools like ERP systems, Google Analytics, and CRM software. • Strong knowledge of inventory management, procurement, and fulfillment processes. • Exceptional ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement data-driven solutions.
