We are collaborating with this organization in search of an Ecommerce Manager to oversee and enhance the online sales strategy and performance. The successful candidate will leverage their extensive knowledge of ecommerce platforms to drive sales growth, refine the customer journey, and ensure smooth operations within the digital marketplace.
You will play a pivotal role in optimizing all aspects of their ecommerce operations in collaboration with teams such as Marketing, Logistics, Sales and Product Development. Staying ahead of ecommerce trends, consumer behaviors, and platform innovations to scale their DTC offering.
Key Responsibilities:
• Formulate and execute holistic ecommerce strategies to boost online revenue and strengthen customer relationships.
• Own the global DTC P&L and drive revenue growth and margin improvements.
• Manage Shopify storefronts across global markets including UK, US, EU, EMEA.
• Track and evaluate ecommerce performance metrics, analyze sales data, and derive actionable insights to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to produce engaging content and optimize the user experience on the digital platform (UX).
• Partner with teams and agencies on paid media, SEO, email, and CRM initiatives to drive traffic and retention.
• Oversee inventory management and logistics for online orders, ensuring prompt fulfillment and delivery.
• Implement A/B testing strategies to continually improve the customer journey and increase conversion rates.
• Remain informed about ecommerce trends and competitor movements to adapt strategies proactively.
Requirements:
• Minimum of 4 years experience in ecommerce management, preferably within the retail or consumer services sectors.
• Deep experience with Shopify (Theme customisation, app integrations, reporting).
• Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in ecommerce analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Shopify Reports and BI Dashboards.
• Good grasp on ecommerce stock management and operational flows across global markets.
• Outstanding communication and teamwork skills, with the capability to collaborate across various teams and functions.
• Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and digital marketing strategies such as CRM, lifecycle and performance media.
• Experience with 3rd party fulfillment providers and international shipping.
