Job Description Summary
The E-commerce Marketing Manager is responsible for developing & implementing plans to achieve annual sales goals. This multifaceted role involves a blend of strategic, analytical, and technical skills to partner with Retailers to drive traffic, increase conversions, and boost online revenue for Virbac brands. Leading and coordinating internal marketing teams and external agencies to ensure the Retailer joint business plans align with the brand's vision and business goals.
Developing strategies
β’ In partnership with the Director, create and implement retail marketing strategies to increase online sales (pureplay, multi-channel & others). This may include research, analyzing customer data, and identifying trends and opportunities, as well as the competitive landscape to develop joint business plans.
β’ Partner with key distributors to expand existing relationships and determine best allocation of MDF spent through multi-channel advertising.
β’ Manage monthly inventory demand to upscale as needed avoiding supply constraints.
β’ This role will focus on specific retailers such as Chewy, Walmart.com, and other online partners. Therefore experience managing large accounts is a must.
Managing campaigns
β’ Oversee and optimize advertising campaigns across various eRetailer partners; including but not limited to CRM, Social, SEO, etc.
β’ Lead performance analytics to determine success (ROI/ROAS) and share out KPIs to corresponding stakeholders. Manage finance request submissions for MDF payment as well as campaign funding requests. Eloquently elaborate on QBRs when applicable and influence leadership when necessary
β’ Collaborate cross functionally, but also have the ability to work independently.
Managing content
β’ Partner with brand managers, agencies, and/or graphics lead to create, update, and monitor product content on ecommerce websites for consistency. This may also include developing content calendars and overseeing website uploads (site audits) and landing page development as well as enhanced PDPs, alongside proper engagement analytics.
Analytics
β’ Accountable for performance reporting on monthly, quarterly and yearly basis. Deliver insights to action and identify the root cause of performance.
β’ Have an analytical mindset to make decisions based on historical data, taking into account external influences, along seasonal trends and customer insights.
Minimum & Desired Requirements:
β’ Bachelorβs Degree from an accredited College or University. MBA preferred but not required.
β’ 7+ years of applicable experience in online Sales, Marketing or Business Development.
β’ Has 5+ years experience working with retailers to develop joint business plans
