Job Description
TEAM MEMBER WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK ONSITE AT OUR RALEIGH, NC HQ FOUR DAYS A WEEK.
The E-Commerce Merchandising Specialist is responsible for managing and promoting products on shop.advanceauto.com to drive sales and enhance the customer experience. This role involves analyzing customer data to understand buying patterns, optimizing product content and placement, managing product reviews, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to execute promotional strategies. The specialist will also develop and update SEO content for category pages and monitor performance metrics to inform data-driven decisions.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned as needed:
β’ Collaborate with the Merchandising Team to ensure complete and accurate product content and digital assets are collected from vendors and relevant sources.
β’ Reformat and upload video content to the website.
β’ Identify and resolve product content conflicts promptly.
β’ Develop SEO copy for category pages using keyword tools and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accuracy and measure impact.
β’ Create product recommendations and conduct category analysis to support category owners.
β’ Review top search terms and optimize results through testing and analysis.
β’ Recommend and implement continuous improvements to enhance the customer shopping experience.
β’ Analyze sales data and develop strategies to improve underperforming segments.
β’ Coordinate and facilitate key components of periodic business meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
β’ Use Google Analytics to monitor content performance and suggest improvements.
Qualifications
β’ Strong understanding of customer behavior and feedback analysis.
β’ Experience with PowerReviews or Bazaarvoice preferred.
β’ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
β’ Advanced Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, pivot tables, and graphs.
β’ Experience measuring and reporting on e-commerce KPIs.
β’ Familiarity with Google Analytics and Quantum Metric preferred.
β’ Automotive knowledge is a plus but not required.
β’ Experience in category management is a plus.
