Team Introduction:
The Americas SMB ecommerce team in Lenovo is responsible for the financial performance ( P&L) and is charged with developing and building the short and long term strategy to drive the Americas SMB ecommerce business to new pinnacles of success. The SMB segment is Lenovo ecommerce’s largest and most profitable segment. This is a high performance team recognized at the highest levels in Lenovo. Americas SMB Ecommerce team owns the P&L, ideates new business ideas and creates the strategic and executional go to market plans to bring them to market. The initiatives can range from adding tools to improve sales enablement, adding new products and services, improvements to the user experience, leading the transformation of our tele sales enablement strategy, partnerships and/or add new benefits for our customers to further accelerate our growth and vision. These are high visibility roles which interface across the large Americas ecommerce teams. We are given the freedom to dream big and then bring these to realities.
Responsibilities
• Responsible for driving the Medium Business (250+ employees) segment revenue and membership growth for North America SMB ecommerce team revenue and incremental memberships.
• Identify, lead and help execute key SMB strategic initiatives & strategy to meet the goals of your business. Experience researching and identifying new trends, business ideas, or issues based on data & analysis
• Provide business cases, data driven business justification, competitive benchmarking analysis, as well as a detailed business equirements document for each project.
• Build comprehensive project plans, schedules for these strategic projects and provide regular status updates and work across functions (sales, marketing, merchandising, 4P, brand, IT, analytics) to ensure programs are delivered on time and as promised
• Responsible for monitoring, capturing overall business performance and member insights on a regular cadence by deep analysis of performance metrics based analytics dashboards for the Medium Business program. Report and present as needed.
• Work with the global analytics organizations to create dashboards as needed
• Set up the regular regional cadences, define agenda to help provide best practices and guidance
• Contribute to regional SMB strategies by guiding both regional teams and leads regular interlocks.
• Contribute to the vision and day-to-day operations of the Lenovo Pro Store SMB portal, including feature/function road maps and best in class solutions with key vendors that drive value for the SMB customer set
• Proactively identify and mitigate issues and potential obstacles in meeting business objectives
• Help evolve a set of solutions and products that over a period will position competitively and in many cases help drive stickiness of the Lenovo offering over the web.
Basic Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required
• 5+ years combined experience working in the business management, general management, program management, ecommerce, product marketing
Desired Skills
• MBA highly preferred
• Certification in Project Management highly preferred
• Expertise in using web analytics and sales data to drive decisions and identify opportunities for improvement, and to validate the success of key site changes/enhancements
• Clear understanding of e-commerce best practices
• Conceptual thinking and problem-solving at all levels, ability to formulate a plan and desire to drive that plan through to completion.
