Role description
The Opportunity We are looking for a hands-on, aggressive, and passionate eCommerce Sales & Optimization Manager to lead the charge in growing our online business. The ideal candidate has proven success managing eCommerce brands larger than $5M+ in annual sales, knows how to optimize both product and site performance, and can efficiently allocate and manage advertising spend for maximum profitability. You’ll be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our eCommerce site performance, marketing strategy, digital advertising, product merchandising, and data-driven decision-making. You will also help evaluate potential acquisitions of similar gift-based websites to expand our digital footprint. Key Responsibilities Site Management & Optimization Oversee the day-to-day operations and performance of our eCommerce site Optimize product listings, site layout, user experience (UX), and conversion funnels Run A/B tests on content, pricing, offers, and product presentations Digital Marketing & Advertising Build and manage performance marketing campaigns across Google, Meta, TikTok, and other platforms Strategically budget and scale advertising spend based on ROI and growth goals Track KPIs including ROAS, conversion rate, CPA, AOV, and customer LTV Growth Strategy & Expansion Collaborate with product and creative teams to launch new items and seasonal campaigns Analyze product performance and consumer data to identify growth opportunities Research and assess other digital gift platforms for acquisition or partnership potential Leadership & Reporting Report directly to ownership and executive team Create growth plans, forecasts, and performance reports Work cross-functionally with marketing, inventory, creative, and fulfillment teams What We’re Looking For 5+ years of experience growing eCommerce brands, ideally with $5M+ in annual online revenue Strong digital marketing expertise with proven ROI from paid ads and organic strategies Experience managing Shopify, WooCommerce, or similar eCommerce platforms Highly analytical and data-driven with proficiency in Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, etc. Creative eye for merchandising and understanding what sells in the gift category Driven, resourceful, entrepreneurial mindset β€” ready to own and grow this business Why Join Us Join a financially strong, 45-year-old company with deep industry roots and proven success Work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where your impact is immediate and visible Help scale an exciting digital division with strong internal support and resources Competitive salary with upside tied directly to performance and profitability Located at our headquarters in Greenfield, Indiana
