About the Role
We’re looking for a creative, results-driven Email Marketing Specialist with 3–5 years of experience—ideally in e-commerce and with a strong command of Klaviyo—to join our growing team. If you have a passion for storytelling through email, love analyzing performance data, and thrive in a fast-paced, beauty-forward environment, this role is for you.
In this position, you’ll lead the charge on all things email and SMS—from concept and copy to execution and performance optimization. You’ll craft campaigns for multiple brands across both DTC and B2B channels, working cross-functionally with our creative and product development teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategize & Execute:
• Build and maintain comprehensive, segmented email and SMS marketing strategies for DTC audiences across multiple brands.
• Campaign Development:
• Conceptualize, design, write, and deploy multiple emails per week that are visually compelling, on-brand, and conversion-optimized.
Automation & Flows:
• Own and optimize Klaviyo flows (e.g., welcome, browse abandonment, cart abandonment, post-purchase, winback) to improve lifecycle performance.
List Growth & Segmentation:
• Grow and maintain email and SMS lists while ensuring proper segmentation, compliance, and personalization.
Creative Collaboration:
• Work with design and marketing teams to develop creative assets and align messaging across channels.
Performance Reporting:
• Monitor KPIs and generate regular reports on campaign performance and sales attribution, identifying actionable insights to improve results.
Content Creation:
• Write clear, engaging copy for emails, SMS, web, social, and other brand touchpoints, tailoring tone and message per audience.
Optimization & Testing:
• A/B test subject lines, copy, visuals, send times, and flows to continuously improve engagement and revenue.
Innovation:
• Bring fresh ideas to the table—from campaign themes to layout improvements—staying ahead of industry trends and best practices.
What We’re Looking For
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in email marketing, preferably in the beauty, fragrance, or lifestyle industry.
• Deep knowledge of Klaviyo and proven success managing automations and campaigns.
• Understanding of e-commerce performance metrics and attribution.
• Excellent writing and proofreading skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and project management skills—you thrive managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Creative, curious, and resourceful; a self-starter who can take initiative and drive strategy forward.
