Summary
We are seeking a strategic, creative, and detail-oriented Email Marketing Specialist to lead the planning, execution, and optimisation of email campaigns across multiple client accounts. This role combines marketing strategy, copywriting, visual design, and cross-channel collaboration. The ideal candidate will have strong design skills, a deep understanding of email platforms, and a passion for driving engagement and performance through tailored, data-informed campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Email Campaign and Automation Implementation
Design and write engaging, on-brand emails for multiple client accounts across varying industries (B2B, B2C, Ecommerce and Lead Gen).
Plan and execute automated flows, segmentation and personalised email campaigns using various platforms including Mailchimp, Klaviyo and other email platforms.
Ensure mobile responsiveness and best practices in design, formatting and strategy.
Client Management:
Act as the point of contact for all email marketing clients.
Attend client meetings, develop strong relationships and regular present strategy updates and performance insights.
Partner with the sales team and senior leadership to position email marketing as a valuable and profitable digital marketing channel.
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement bespoke, joined-up email marketing strategies which also align with multi-channel objectives (SEO, PPC, Social, Content, Web and Video)
Collaborate with the data-analysis team to create data-driven strategies.
Work closely with the content team to maintain brand consistency and cross-channel alignment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work with SEO, PPC, Social, Web, Content, and Video teams to deliver cohesive and aligned marketing efforts.
Support internal marketing efforts with regular email campaigns for our clients and prospective leads.
Operations & Reporting:
Oversee day-to-day email marketing operations, including scheduling, testing, and A/B experiments.
Maintain compliance with email regulations including DMARC and DMC standards.
Prepare monthly performance reports with insights and optimisation recommendations.
Required Skills and Experience:
Experience in email marketing strategy, content creation, and campaign execution.
Strong visual design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Canva.
Hands-on experience with Mailchimp, Klaviyo, HubSpot, and CRM-based email platforms.
Strong client management, communication skills and adaptability.
Ability to interpret analytics and apply findings to improve campaign effectiveness.
Knowledge of email compliance and deliverability standards (DMARC, DMC).
Working knowledge of HTML for email layout and troubleshooting is a plus.
Excellent organisation, time management and project management skills.
