Senior Full-Stack Engineer – Node.js, Go, React | $150k–$180k | Onsite in NYC Compensation: $150,000 – $180,000 base Location: New York City (Onsite) Schedule: 5 Days On-Site in Manhattan, NY About the Role We’re seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help build scalable media and commerce experiences that connect culture, content, and commerce. You’ll work across the stack—from backend APIs and services to mobile-friendly frontend interfaces—helping define and deliver key capabilities in a domain-driven, high-scale platform. This is a Full-Time position onsite in Manhattan, NYC. What You’ll Do • Build end-to-end features using modern fullstack tools (Node.js, Go, React, Remix). • Lead development of clean, responsive, and mobile-friendly frontend features. • Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs connecting media and commerce services. • Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and QA to deliver impactful releases. • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across the stack. • Maintain automated test coverage across frontend and backend. • Contribute to the architecture and evolution of headless commerce infrastructure. What We’re Looking For • 7+ years of software engineering experience (frontend + backend). • Strong JavaScript/TypeScript and React skills. • Proficiency in Node.js or Go (both preferred). • Proven experience building and consuming production APIs. • Agile team experience with clear domain ownership. Bonus Points For • Shopify Hydrogen, Remix, or other headless commerce stacks. • Event-driven architecture (Kafka, etc.). • High-scale media or eCommerce experience. • CI/CD pipelines and AWS cloud infrastructure knowledge.
