Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Director of Global Sales to lead our international retail sales strategy across the beauty category. This role is pivotal in driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and ensuring brand excellence across APAC, LATAM, MEA, EU, and the UK. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in retail, distributor management, and cross-functional leadership, with a proven ability to deliver results in dynamic global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy & Budget Delivery
• Own and deliver the global retail sales budget for Wet Brush, Goody, Bio Ionic, and Ouidad.
• Develop and execute regional sales strategies that align with brand goals and commercial targets.
• Monitor performance and ensure timely course correction to meet or exceed targets.
Market Expansion & Distributor Development
• Identify high-potential countries and retail channels for growth.
• Source, evaluate, and onboard new distributors and retail partners, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and commercial standards.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and implement improvement plans for underperforming partners.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with Brand and Trade Marketing to ensure the right assets, activations, and campaigns are in place to support retail sales.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, and Product teams to ensure operational readiness and commercial alignment.
Team Leadership
• Lead and mentor a team of Regional Sales Directors across APAC, LATAM, MEA, EU, and UK.
• Ensure each region has a robust sales plan with clear KPIs and execution timelines.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
Retail Excellence & Channel Strategy
• Drive excellence in retail execution, including merchandising, promotions, and in-store experience.
• Develop channel-specific strategies for key retailers, e-commerce platforms, and beauty specialty stores.
Reporting & Forecasting
• Provide regular performance updates and insights to executive leadership.
• Ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility across all regions.
Qualifications:
• 10+ years of international sales leadership experience in the beauty or consumer goods industry.
• Proven success in managing distributor networks and retail partnerships globally.
• Strong understanding of beauty retail dynamics, shopper behavior, and channel strategy.
